   This has been our go to fancy meal for years. Recently the ambience has been degraded by allowing patrons in t shirts, yoga attire, and baseball hats to dine. I wish the management would enforce the dress code. A $100+ per person steakhouse dinner should not have this type of ambience. The food was delicious, as always.

   Sean and Sidney are best bartenders in Denver and we eat everywhere. Food is always fantastic. But service is 2nd to no one.

   Atmosphere, location, menu, food, service, everything was great. Santiago, our server, did a wonderful job tending to our Bachelor party group of 10. No trouble, excellent help and suggestion and the food… 11/10

   Don't listen to the reviews that say this place isn't friendly, I guess anyone could have an off day but this place was super friendly and helpful. The food was awesome. We started off with the shrimp cocktail and calamari, both were superb. We shared the filet with a south african lobster tail both of which were prepared to perfection. We chose to eat outside as the weather was wonderful, but the service didn't suffer at all which isn't usually the case with some restaurants when eating outside. All in all this place is wonderful and my wife and I will be back.

    Excellent business lunch. Professional, quiet setting in a private room and the service was amazing. Our server caught on that I was rushed for a flight, and prepared my meal accordingly. The lamb popsicles and steak were amazing!

    Very underwhelming everything. Some of the staff were polite, others were indifferent to the point of being unfriendly. Our server brought the entrees when we were not even halfway through the appetizer, and since we had the cold seafood platter, they just thought it’s a good idea to move everything to a smaller plate without ice. I asked for horseradish, and he asked me in such a tone of voice if I wanted anything else, that it was clear I was annoying him with just one request. The food would have been ok if not so pricey. We’ve had better steaks at the Texas Roadhouse, which doesn’t mean much. And better side dishes just about anywhere else. So, if you expect an “upscale” anything, adjust your expectations.

    Worst experience I've had to date at a "fine dining" restaurant. Screaming kids everywhere and food took forever to be brought to you Plus they didn't even have enough lemonade for an Arnold palmer Plus the wife now is sick could be food related

    Our latest visit to Cap Grille was very good. Usually outstanding. Bart his team/associates are terrific. Santiago took really good care of us, service is always outstanding. This is our “go to” place for special occasions. I highly recommend a visit if you are looking for a great experience.

    This was our second time coming here for dinner. The food overall is excellent - we both had steaks (the filet mignon and the ribeye) and were very happy with our choices. The only thing we didn't like was the potatoes au gratin - they just weren't very flavorful and were poorly cooked. But, we will definitely be going back!

    The food was delicious and came out quickly. Wade was very personable, helpful and did a great job. Atmosphere was very classy and what I expected. If you aren't on a budget and looking for a special night out, I highly recommend The Capital Grille.

    I ordered the filet mignon medallions and petite lobster tails. I told the waiter I wanted my filet done with "some pink" in it. It came red. my dining partner was halfway finished with her meal before waiter even checked to see if our food was prepared well. He took my filet to have it "put on the grill for 30 seconds. My steak came back entirely charred black on the outside, making it inedible. I was too disgusted to bother complaining as I didn't want the time with my dining partner further ruined by the back and forth of the waiter and manager interrupting us every 5 minutes. In my experience, when a restaurant ruins their signature food, they ruin things more by talking too much instead of efficiently and quietly fixing the problem.

    We decided to spend our 24th Anniversary at The Capital Grille because the food is always delicious and the service outstanding. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed the lamb and the filet special, which were both excellent. Our server, Bryan, couldn’t possibly have been more attentive and kind and made our evening special and highly enjoyable. Our table was decked out with confetti hearts when we arrived and we definitely felt like special guests, although we know every guest is special at The Capital Grille.
