A fabulous setting for enjoying an excellent meal with great service from all the staff. Thank you.

We went for a my birthday dinner. The setting is stunning, the view over the marshes is really lovely. We started with some sourdough and whipped butter while we were waiting for our food. Unfortunately it wasn’t quite to our taste, the butter was a little tasteless and it didn’t work well with the bread which was a little on the sour side for my liking (I’m a baker by profession), but this is just personal taste rather than a fault with the bread itself. We went for pork sausages and fish and chips for the kids. Portions were generous. I opted to for the grilled seafood and my partner the pork chop. Both were nice but not outstanding and the seafood dish cost almost £35. Service was good and the waiter spotted that the octopus was missing from my dish before I did which was dealt with and much appreciated. If we were to visit again I think I’d been keen to dine outside and take more advantage of the lovely views.

It was absolutely amazing experience. Quiet place, not close to main road and private. The service was lovely, everyone was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The food was incredible, steak was done perfectly. The most memorable was the Irish bread - wow! Was lucky they had a loaf , so I bought one , cause that was definitely one of the best breads I had. The overall experience was brilliant , atmosphere, food and interior is very cosy. Will be back very soon!

Lovely place, been before. Was a bit busier this time so louder but service was great, very helpful waitress who kept it together during a mad service!
