We expected it to be quiet as it was a 6.30pm booking on. Monday but there were people already eating and it was quite a buzz in there. Got shown to our table after ordering a drink and the menu was given to us. Normal pub grub offered, menu quite depleted from the last time we ate there, new owners. The waiter was a young boy and very attentive and polite . My husband had Italian chicken and I ordered belly pork, both dishes very well presented and extremely tasty. Enough to fill you sufficiently but not too much . The venue started filling up as we made to leave and as we went outside there were Morris dancers preparing to perform. Wonderful 😃. Would recommend anyone going, not sure how they’ll be on a busier night but food good.

Ordered the chicken house salad and was beautiful . Good sized portions

Plenty of parking, great setting and lovely warm welcome, service was friendly and efficient, food was presented very well, received 3 anniversary chocolates with happy anniversary written on plate in chocolate along with our desserts which was a nice surprise, all in all we would recommend a visit.
