First time, really enjoyed the evening. The food was beautiful, really good sized portions. The service was a little slow but nothing to worry about. Look forward to coming back.

Beautiful meal from the Christmas menu, excellent service attentive staff. This is more like The Stag we are used to after an uncharacteristic blip. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Festive menu selection for a party of nine. The food, ambience and customer service could not be faulted - would definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely pub/restaurant. We sat by the Christmas tree and open fire. The service was good and the food was very good.

Friendly welcome. Only two staff working front of house, so they were under pressure with a large party in at the same time we arrived. The drinks were reasonably priced and not ripped off for a dash of coke, like some other establishments. They serve Aspall cider which was a bonus and not a cheap substitute. The food was very good, well presented and very tasty. They had a woodburner but this was not lit, which was a shame. We will both return as we enjoyed the evening.
