We booked our table at very short notice , booked at 6.15 pm for reservation at 7.0pm.It was the easiest and fastest on -line booking platform I have ever used. On arrival we were seated without fuss or delay,seating arrangement was quirky but comfortable, lighting was bright (we've got nothing to hide lighting level ) ,if there had been any dirty corners it would have been possible to see them the kitchen is visble from the sesting area a very good sign, Byford's is one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of dinning in. The food was well presented and hot ,I can throughly recommend the pan fried Sea Bass it was delicious, Sue had the Salad Platter which she also enjoyed immensely. Our servers were charming and delightfull I'm sorry I can't name check them personally. A really delightful evening which we hope to repeat before we go home.

E xcellent service and food. Went above and beyond to cater for one of our party who has special dietary requirements. Very helpful in accommodating an extra person in our party.

We had a delicious Monday evening meal at the Swallows. The Steak and Ale pie and lamb rump were excellent.
