The stately looking former manor house, is set back from the road in acres of grounds surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Our Head Chef's seasonal menu draws on the rich Norfolk larder of produce, much of it sourced on the doorstep, like Brancaster molluscs and local farm reared meats using innovative and modern cooking techniques.     We had haddock and chips. It was large and really delicious. There was a two minute wait for our table and we ordered drinks at the bar. The staff were attentive and friendly. Overall a great experience. They don't have much in the way of vegan food on the menu.

    The food here is always lovely Good portions, good options, great quality, nice wine The service is always great . We sat outside as it was a beautiful warm evening and it was so relaxed I really love this place

    Our waitress Poy was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, I think a child’s menu would be advantageous. This was our grandsons 18th birthday and he was very pleased to enjoy his first legal drink with you all, and I believe the owner, whose name I didn’t know paid for his first pint, top bloke! So all in all a lovely pub and lovely experience, my wife and I will definitely be revisiting. Well done to all the team.

    Definitely worth a visit. Good variety of well prepared quality food. No service charges added and I was happy to add a tip to the bill.
