    I dined at MeXo before the Broadway Grand Rapids show because MeXo participates in the Restaurant Perks program for season ticket holders. We ordered off the special Couples Menu. The classic margarita and the vegan enchiladas were amazing. I was not a fan of the Signature Salsa Duo, especially the pickled vegetables. In the future, I would order a different appetizer. Our server (Riley) was very attentive and checked back throughout our stay to make sure we didn't need anything.

    The food and service were amazing as usual. There were a couple of tables that had a few individuals that were pretty loud and semi-annoying, but that also helps keep the mood at a little less casual feeling, while still enjoying a fine dining experience.

    Mertens Prime is the best fine dining restaurant in Grand Rapids. The food, service, and ambience exceed expectations every time. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there and were thoroughly impressed as always. We love the lamb tagine, and their selection of classic cocktails is delightful. Only suggestion I have would be for an update on the dessert menu. While the experience of tableside desserts is fun, I don’t think the list is as elevated as the entree menu.

    Great experience on New Year’s Day! Everyone enjoyed their food. The Biscuits For A Cause and Sriracha Honey Chicken & Waffles were the standouts. PT was very engaging and attentive throughout the entire meal. We’ll be back!
