Best Vegan Restaurants in Grand Rapids

Our family enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch at RIX, a newish venue at the beautiful Ada Hotel. The restaurant is gorgeous, elegant, yet down to earth and fun. Attentive and friendly service… special thanks to Elaine for being awesome! We had a perfect, comfortable table with a window view of the pretty grounds below. The food was amazing, and I particularly loved their Titanic French Toast with yummy blueberry compote. My husband ordered the BLTE (an open faced BLT with egg) which he thoroughly enjoyed; my son-in-law really loved his smoked salmon bagel sammi which was outstanding, while my daughter enjoyed one of the best chicken and hot cakes she ever had! That chicken! Yum!! Our brunch drinks were fabulous as well. We’ve been to Rix for cocktails before and just want to say, “Bravo to their mixologists who clearly take their craft seriously!” Perfection in a glass! Looking forward to our next visit…. Five stars all the way for RIX!!

Excellent food! The chef came to talk to us about raicilla, we were able to have flights of mezcal. The experience was amazing!

Food was very good. Service lack a higher rate due to lack of workers.

Food was typical bar food with only one vegan option, a vegan burger, which was decent. Happy to have something I could eat. Didn't like that we were at a standing table, outside, in front of the stage but told we had to stay in our seat, couldn't even stand at the table with the chair right behind us. Last thing I want to do after sitting at a desk all day is sit and listen to a good band... let me move my legs just a little bit while staying at my table.
