Excellent food. Great service. Cocktails were amazing. Server was amazing. Would happily return
The food is quite tasty, although in my honest opinion - overpriced.
Servers were friendly atmosphere was nice, food was good.
Atmosphere was great. Table was not ready upon arrival so had to wait about 20 minutes. Bartender suddenly couldn’t make a drink anymore that was one of their specials?? Would recommend for brunch or lunch, but dinner it was just so so. Atmosphere really cute. Service could have been better.
Love Tupelo Honey, always amazing food and service.
My server was great! Not sure what her name was I think I had a little too many shots! But definitely appreciated the service and the food was amazing thank you!
We made a reservation for 2 and were seated as soon as we arrived. This is my new favorite restaurant in GR! The food was incredible! We started with the happy hour loaded potato cracklins! They were so yummy and a great starter to the evening! For my main course I had the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It was literally the perfect combination of sweet and spicy! For my side I had the Mac and cheese which did not disappoint! My husband is a vegetarian and had the Shaksuka and loved it. He had the biscuits as his side. He brought one home and we fought over the last bite! For my cocktail I had the Tupelo Honey Margarita. It has a chili-salt rim which made it a hit! I had to have dessert of course so I opted for the mini Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse. It was a perfect end to the meal and I love that they offer a mini of their desserts! I can't wait to go back!! I highly recommend Tupelo Honey!
So happy to have you guys in Grand Rapids! We’ve had amazing food and service and drinks both times we’ve been. Thank you for your healthy options as well! I think you need sweet potato fries to go with your amazing other side options! So good!
Was excited to try southern food. It was some of the saltiest food we've ever had. Portions are small for the price.
The food has been amazing. I have been here 3 times now and have been overwhelmed with the quality of the food.
Service has not disappointed either. Olivia was our server for lunch yesterday. She was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Its easy to tell she loves her job and coworkers.
Great job on creating a positive environment not only for your customers but for your staff. Can't wait to come back.
Service was great! Apps were AMAZing, must try. New favorite happy hour spot.
The shrimp and grits were amazing. The service is great.
Hannah was amazing! Excellent service. Prompt, knowledgably, upbeat, and friendly! Loved her!
Food was outstanding! Friend green Tomato's and Brussel sprouts were just perfect!
Highly recommend!
Food was good! I got the Shrimp and grits, seemed a little overpriced for the portion size, but since we're in a pandemic and restaurants aren't getting the same traffic they're used to, we'll let it slide. Banana pudding didn't seem the same as the first time I got it (and it was the reason we went back). Overall a good time. Our server didn't seem to care that much about us, but she may have been having a bad day herself. She showed a little personality at the end, so that was nice.
Everything we ate was phenomenal! Highly recommend this place! Can’t wait to try brunch!
Wonderful experience. Food was great. Service was amazing.
All the food was amazing, loved our server Hannah! We will definitely be back.
Chicken was dry and didn’t have enough gravy to compensate. But the seasoning was really good.
We loved Tupelo Honey. The ambiance is great, it's decorated so cute. The drinks, appetizers and meals we had were amazing! Our waitress was very nice and attentive too. We'll definitely be back.
Service was knowledgeable and attentive. My drink, the Wildflower Moscow Mule, was smooth and delish. However, my boyfriend's Old Fashion was not that good. Smoker may help. I've never had biscuits that tasty! I ordered the french toast with chicken. It was beyond amazing. They offer large portions for a decent price.
First timer here- loved everything about our experience. Reasonable price points, awesome upbeat and trendy atmosphere, attentive server, delicious food and drinks. Will be back!
Great service, great food and an exciting atmosphere!
Chicken was a little dry. Pork fried in duck fat was good but prob would not get again. The sides were amazing! Grits! Cauliflower! And fried Potatoes! Good drinks as well!
We had a girls night out for a birthday. We all loved Tupelo Honey and will be back!
I had been here two times already and we three decided to have a lighter lunch with sharing appetizers. Everything was so delicious. Fried Green tomatoes, avacado toast was very generous, and then the pimento cheese with potatoes. We had to try/share a sampler dessert also. I have not had anything I did not like here - very warm and inviting environment. Will be back soon!
First off, if I could give TEN stars, I would! This was my first visit and I went with my daughter. It was election day so we were super stressed out. The first thing I noticed (besides the sheer beauty of the dining area) was that the staff was so friendly and helpful, not only to the guests, but to each other. That was a sorely needed bright spot during these times. Now, there was a communication issue, so our server didn't know we were there. Props to Lamaria (spelling?) who saw me looking around and stepped over to ask if I needed help even though it wasn't her table. Our server, Raven wasted no time visiting us once she realized we were there and apologized, which was appreciated but not necessary. She was a fabulous server, attentive, friendly, and knew the menu. Now to the food...I cannot say enough about the food! The menu is inventive with enough choices to consider many future visits without having so many choices that it becomes overwhelming. The photos includes show fried pickles, fried okra, the Shoo Mercy Griddle (OMG!), and the Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and mac-n-cheese. The griddle consists of french toast or sweet potato pancakes topped with buttermilk fried chicken, bacon, pecans, and two eggs - whoever came up with this combo is a frickin' genius! The buttermilk chicken was light and flaky and juicy, the best I've ever had if I'm being honest. At the end of the day, it was an over the top fantastic experience. Kudos, Tupelo Honey! Side note: We took desserts home with us - the banana pudding and chocolate peanut butter mousse. WOW! I mean, what more can I say? It's one of those places that if I could afford it, I would want to take every person I know so they could have the same awesome feelings I left with. Definitely a huge asset for Grand Rapids!
The food and service was exceptional! We started off with the biscuit and blueberry butter - to die for! Fried green tomatoes - delightful mac and cheese bites - savory with a hint of heat. Chicken BLT sandwich with the cracklin potatoes - the flavor was fabulous and the chicken was tender inside and crunchy on the outside and the potatoes were ever so good! BBQ pork grilled cheese with tomato soup was scrumptious. Looking forward to returning and exploring the menu. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and cheerful.
This restaurant was phenomenal! Our service was fantastic, the food was amazing, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant made this a 10/10 experience. The only thing to note is that when busy, it can be quite loud inside, but it did not disrupt our experience.
We were so excited to dine at Tupelo Honey in GR. We had been at your Asheville, NC many times. Our experience was great. We got our reserved table immediately and our server Hannah was great. Our food came in a timely manner and was very hot. The restaurant itself is quite noisy but the atmosphere is pretty and comfortable.
Service was good. Food was true southern cooking. Pecan pie was delicious.
This was our first time dining there. We really enjoyed the environment, the food was excellent and the waitress was very friendly and accommodating. We definitely recommend yes it will be back.
Great brunch menu and drinks, kind and helpful staff. Will definitely be returning for more!!
Great food and atmosphere but was concerned about the handicap accessibility.
This restaurant offers a unique menu and beautiful decor
Our server Meghan was very attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. She made some great drink suggestions. I LOVED lavender infused lemonade!
Our waiter was awesome and had a great attitude. It was so nice to actually have a waiter during these times that made us feel “normal” he was very outgoing and knew a lot about the drink and food menu. We had been to Tupelo honey in Myrtle beach in may and loved it! So glad to ha e it so close to us as we live in traverse city.
Excellent food and unique for our area. Perfect service and a fun atmosphere with a mixture of young people, millennials and old timers
For Covid I felt like things were a bit tight. We were sat at a table in the main walkway to the entire restaurant and it felt like everyone could breathe on our food— luckily we went later in the evening, so crowd was decreasing as the night went on. Order white meat— much more food for the money. Brussels were drop dead amazing!! Great waiter too. Wished the outdoor patio was functioning....
