The sushi and sashimi are high grade and delicious, portions are perfect as well. The Geisha combo is a must for nigiri lovers if you want the full variety, and I adored the hotate carpaccio, which was a perfect balance of sweetness, freshness and acidity with the ponzu sauce. The staff are also very kind and attentive. Looking forward to visiting soon again.

Love Tanakatsu! This was my second time here. Firstly, the staff are so friendly and attentive they’re just awesome. Secondly, they were very nice to our dog, which was very kind! And finally! The food is always delicious: pork katsu set, miso, green tea and a side of Kara age. I think the iberico upgrade wasn’t worth it (because their default pork is really good) and the fried chicken side was too much fry (but don’t get me wrong - was delicious!!!!). But honestly the flavours and quality are amazing and the portions are VERY generous. Love this place and would definitely recommend!!!!

The cuisine served at the restaurant is traditional "kaiseki" cuisine prepared by chef Daisuke Hayashi. He has been trained at "Kikunoi" and his proven cooking techniques have been appreciated by many customers. His cuisine is based on dashi and the flavors of the seasonal ingredients themselves.

The interior had been made in Kyoto and shipped to London to be assembled by the craftsmen from Nakamura Sotoji Komuten, one of the world's leading experts in the Sukiya style.

This project started with a desire to follow in the footsteps of our predecessors and to spread the still developing category of Japanese food culture, kaiseki, to the world.

We use smokeless table grills with smoke extractor which keeps the strong smell of the BBQ off your clothes! Also, the air is circulated by the extractor, it helps to have clean air.

We are welcoming all kinds of parties from single customers to group up to 25. As well as our BBQ menu, we have prepared a variety of starters to start off your experience. Visa and Master Card is available.

*Please be advised that tables are available for 90min (60min for 1 person) for Lunch time and for Dinner, a maximum of 1 hour for 1 person, 1.5 hours for 2 persons and 2 hours for 3 to 6 persons. Quite a good choice in the menu, obviously lots of meat on offer. I had the yellow fin tuna donburi but my friends shared the bbq Wagyu set course which had scallops and prawns, plus an array of different beed, and I believe some pork, all came with a small Hachi salad, kimchi, rice and miso soup. The set course was was a generous portion, ending with dessert as well! Service was good, they were very kind and accommodating as we had a reservation which was a half hour before the last order, they let us stay beyond closing time, at 3pm, too so not to rush.
