Kew
About the restaurant
Only four minutes away from the Kew Botanic Gardens, Q Verde is a popular Mediterranean restaurant on Sandycombe Road that has a delightful villagey vibe. Food lovers flock to Q Verde for the wholesome menus and outstanding service. This family-run restaurant genuinely makes you feel at home the moment you step inside the door. The mouth-watering menu is filled with temptations such as black truffle ravioli served with butter and sage for starters, followed by vitello saltimbocca of course with the beautiful zucchini fritti, and the traditional home-made tiramisu.

My family love eating at Q Verde and on this occasion we were celebrating our daughter's birthday with a group of her friends. Everyone had a wonderful evening and the food and service was excellent as always. Thank you Q Verde for making our evening so special x

We've been here for two brilliant Burns Nights events but wanted to come back and try the standard menu. Absolutely fantastic. To be greeted at the door by Cyrus and his wife is truly magical. It is such an enjoyable atmosphere and experience. Food - they encourage a small plates tapas style so we had poppadums' with dips to start which were great - instead of flat they were like little small bowls so you could fill them with the dips. We then chose a dish each with a nan to share. The seabass was outstanding but all dishes lovely. Then we did round two - another 4 main dishes with a couple of bowls of rice to share. So we tried eight main dishes, two types of nan and two types of rice. The flavours are just amazing unlike any other Indian restaurant you can go to. Dessert - no-one has a pudding in an Indian, it's always just a frozen ice cream. But not here. An apple and cinnamon samosa with ice cream, a Portuguese pancake with ice cream and a cardamom spiced creme brulee. Truly delicious. And the cost is very reasonable for such wonderful food.

Steakhouse
Docklands
About the restaurant
Goodman specialises in steak. Our chefs source the best beef from both sides of the Atlantic – from premium USDA corn-fed herds to grass-fed Scottish beef, grain-fed Irish Angus and rare breed Belted Galloway from the Lake District in England – to present a unique combination of a traditional British chophouse and classic New York grill. All of our meat is dry aged and cut on-site – which can be seen in our glass-walled dry-ageing room. Couple that with one of London’s largest collections of American red wine, fine single malt whiskeys and a couple of great traditional English beers on tap and you have a match made in carnivore heaven.

We always enjoy our experience at Goodmans, the food is always top class quality, the staff take the time explain what you are choosing, the taste, the texture and take the time to remember you and as we celebrate significant birthdays there, they always make you feel super special! The experience is always one to remember!!!

About the restaurant
A stunning restaurant just off of London’s well beaten track, Café Amisha is a local favourite bringing together urban styling with rustic food in a clever and harmonious way. Deep colours and dim lighting provide Café Amisha with an intimate atmosphere perfectly lending itself to romantic meals, while the addition of cosy Chesterfield settees and a well-stocked bar means that this is the kind of place in which to enjoy a full night with friends too. Attention to detail is important to Café Amisha’s management and their philosophy shines through not only in impeccable service but in the restaurant’s own blend of modern creative and traditional and authentic Italian dishes.

Excellent quality Italian food, with fantastic service to match. We went for an early pre-concert meal, so the restaurant was quiet, and we were greeted by name! Nice to sit in the covered, but outside veranda. We wouldn’t hesitate to make a return visit.

I had already been here when they opened in 2022, so no surprise for me. But my friends were positively surprised by how good is the food. The piglets and the duck quesadilla are strongly recommended. Cocktails are also very good. Atmosphere is quiet, so we could easily talk to each other and service was quite quick and very professional. There is probably no better Mexican restaurant in London. It is more expensive than other Mexican places, but the quality is on another level
