   Exceeded expectations in most every way. Service was attentive with great recommendations, though not overboard. Portions were somewhat smaller, but progressed through courses in a way that left you satisfied. Absolutely have to try the pork belly (imagine a cube of bacon that has a slight after taste of wood smoke). They have very reasonable prices non-alcohol cocktails and a great wine selection. Restaurant is laid out in a unique fashion with areas for couples , large parties , etc. Even the subterranean bathroom with the classy tile and period sink is fun. Overall you will spend a fair amount (think, special occasion), but it is worth it. We went on our anniversary and they had a personalized card with well wishes from the staff on it, a gift of cornbread recipe and ingredients in a bell jar (better than I am making it sound). At one point the waiter showed up with fresh cornbread that was warm from the oven , just because it was good and he wanted us to try it. If you’re looking for a really special experience, this is a safe bet. We loved it.

   The Urban farmer Mother’s Day brunch did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the non alcoholic drinks were good. My wife loved the food and it was very quiet. If you do not have reservations you are not getting in until after brunch is over. Which is good because it was definitely not overcrowded. So if you want to go on Mother’s Day you have to book early. Well before Mother’s Day. I booked at least month out and got mid morning. So book in March or end of February or your Mother’s Day prolly going to be at McDonald’s.

   Delicious Mother’s Day brunch. Not overly crowded. Friendly service. Bottomless mimosas.

   While the service was good and the restaurant boasted a nice location and atmosphere with appealing decor, the food itself was a significant letdown, leading to a 3-star rating. Our entrees arrived lukewarm and rapidly cooled. Beyond the temperature, the dishes lacked flavor and tasted bland. Considering the price, we anticipated a much higher quality meal. It was at least 10 minutes before a staff member checked on us after our initial delivery, at which point we mentioned the issue with the food's temperature. The restaurant did offer to rectify the situation and kindly comped our drinks. For reference, I ordered the scallops, and my wife had the salmon.

   Every part of this evening was beyond what we expected. From the hostess to the server and the management team, this place rocks. The cocktails were on point and did not skimp. The meals (steak flight, striped bass and Brussels sprouts) were melt in your mouth delicious and the dessert (butterscotch sundae with brown butter blondie - yea you heard that right) iced it all. Low key dinner or celebration this place will fit the bill. Thanks for a great night!

   The coordination blew my mind. It was also great to how nice they revamped the Old McCormicks.

   I made a reservation for my wife’s birthday and requested a quiet table. I would assume that would be a little further from noisy parties but we were sat at a center table next to two very noisy tables in the dining room where we were unable to hear each other over dinner. I know you have closed sections but when there’s only 5 other tables present I don’t believe it’d be that much trouble to walk to another table two tables away having been in the industry I’ve worked many more tables at once and across multiple dining rooms. Our server didn’t seem to be a fan of us from the get go since I’m assuming my wife wasn’t drinking due to being pregnant. It took 20min to receive drinks and this was our first time dining so we were not sure what we were ordering initially. After receiving drinks the server still pushed us to order the most expensive thing on the menu as he did from the first greet. We had to request to order a salad to start with since this was not asked between or after receiving drinks which was in a span of the first 30min of being seated. We arrived at 8:05 for our 8:15 reservation because we knew they closed at 9pm that night. We didn’t have our entree order taken until 8:55pm. Understandably we didn’t order immediately upon the first greet since we were unfamiliar with the menu and torn between a couple different items but nearly an hour to take our order was WAY more time than what we ever needed and felt we were being punished. We did go with the most expensive item on the menu as recommended and was more than enough food for us to share since we don’t eat large portions like many guest I’m assuming. Our total dine time was over 2hrs which at least 45min of that was spent waiting on our server. I know you’ll spend some time waiting in finer dining so the experience isn’t rushed but there is a point of it being too slow as it was in our case. I have many more details to complain about in our experience mostly on service but no more room here.

   Great experience! We went for their Easter buffet and we loved the selection of food…everything was great! We will go back on a regular night to try their regular menu.
