Run by siblings Paul C. Reilly, who mans the burners, and Aileen Reilly, who oversees front of house, beast + bottle is located in Denver’s Uptown neighborhood.

The “beast” refers to the restaurant’s appreciation for the whole animal, utilizing all parts to honor its integrity. The owners’ relationships with farmers, ranchers and purveyors bring ethically and humanely raised, responsibly harvested and organic (whenever possible) ingredients to the table.

The “bottle” refers to drinks. b+b’s wine program is influenced by the European tradition of drinking wine how you’d like – whether that’s a glass or by the liter.

The menu changes whenever the kitchen pleases based on what’s in-season and what the cooks are enjoying at the moment. What remains constant is a steady focus on sustainability and versatility of ingredients.

Good but not great. Service and server expertise w the menu was Questionable. The Surprise 5 percent add on for the kitchen staff was not clear up front and was unexpected as added pre-tip. Ridiculous. We havent been here in about 2 years and won’t be back for a long time again.

The lamb shank French onion soup was amazingly rich and complex. Multiple kind of cheeses, delectable broth, a treat from start to finish. The rest of the meal (crispy cod, red velvet cake) was good, but nothing life-changing. The Vietnamese coffee ice cream garnishing the cake was the best part of that dish. Service was exceptional: friendly, perfectly timed, cocktail was on point, and professional, but no pretenses. Small, cozy restaurant with free and plentiful parking.

The atmosphere and service was excellent, I had been looking forward to trying Beast + Bottle for years and finally got around to it. The food was tasty, but I did feel it was a little underwhelming for this price point. Not to say it was bad by any means, and I could tell it was thoughtfully crafted, but for a similar menu price I feel like there are other Denver restaurants where I would feel I was really getting what I was paying for. Would still be a nice special occasion restaurant, and I always appreciate a farm-to-table approach which they do well.

We have eaten at Beast and Bottle a few other times when visiting Denver. Always has been very good. This time the food was extremely salty. The fig pizza was overdone. The lamb was so salty it was hard to eat. Only one person in our group of 4 liked their meal. Very disappointed. Will not go back.

Place is tiny. You are right on top of the other tables. Service was inconsistent and average at best. It definitely had a higher end feel. For example, our silver ware was replaced after every course. However, we'd wait for long periods between drinks. My water ran out multiple times. Our waiter struggled to run our check. Those type of things overcast our overall experience. The food was great. The prices are a bit high. I am glad I went and probably don't need to go back.

It’s a fun place if you’re not in a hurry and don’t mind loud music. We ate our entire meal and then headed up to White Pizza for another meal. Our portions were small and not filling. They tasted great, but just not enough. The music was annoyingly loud. Our server kept asking us what we said. I felt like we repeated ourselves twice in conversations with him. One of my favorites was their Milky Bourbon drink. Even though alittle pricey ($13 a small glass), it was great!

Had a fantastic experience. it was our 10 year wedding anniversary and the staff went out of there way to congratulate us. The service was exceptional and the food was incredible. Only wish is that we lived closer to Denver to enjoy it more often!

We love Beast and Bottle. Last visit had a more limited menu selection. I'll check the menu next time since two of our party of 4 are not fond of lamb, the main theme that night. Otherwise excellent.

Great brunch but noisy. We went for Sunday brunch around 12:30. Music over speakers and crowd made for a noisy meal (we are in our 50s and 60s so maybe a little less tolerant to this). Service was very good, with attentive server. Cocktails were delicious. Menu is a little unorthodox but everything was tasty. Portion size is good but not huge.

Although we had to wait for our reservation, they kindly paid us back through amazing little gifts here and there and free small desserts as an apology. They were extremely nice and wonderful. The food was amazing and I would love to come back here again

I love this intimate space and choices on food. I like the food combinations and ingredients! Honestly, my only critique is that the quantity on the plate does not match with the price tag. I felt we overpaid. Otherwise, I would probably come back to enjoy a drink or snack. This seems like a better choice. You also have a lovely outdoor patio. Keep getting better!

New Year’s Eve dinner. Food was great. Service was excellent. We had great seating in the back corner but that also put us under the speaker so we probably had the loudest seat, although the level was still moderate. Overall a great experience.

This is an old favorite of ours and we dined with close friends. Pros: Great service, great wine (good value), nice ambiance, lamb pappardelle and deserts Cons: Short rib was dry and tough and halibut was served cool. I can't tell you how disappointing the short rib was which should be moist and fork tender. This is the worst meal we've ever had here and won't be coming back.
