   Good but not great. Service and server expertise w the menu was Questionable. The Surprise 5 percent add on for the kitchen staff was not clear up front and was unexpected as added pre-tip. Ridiculous. We havent been here in about 2 years and won’t be back for a long time again.

   Cute small restaurant. The food was delicious and pretty. I ordered the spinach salad and pan seared cod. Both were great. The dessert was ok.

   Great place to dine for date night. We went for restaurant week but decided to try near close to everything on the regular menu instead. Highly recommend!

   The lamb shank French onion soup was amazingly rich and complex. Multiple kind of cheeses, delectable broth, a treat from start to finish. The rest of the meal (crispy cod, red velvet cake) was good, but nothing life-changing. The Vietnamese coffee ice cream garnishing the cake was the best part of that dish. Service was exceptional: friendly, perfectly timed, cocktail was on point, and professional, but no pretenses. Small, cozy restaurant with free and plentiful parking.

   The atmosphere and service was excellent, I had been looking forward to trying Beast + Bottle for years and finally got around to it. The food was tasty, but I did feel it was a little underwhelming for this price point. Not to say it was bad by any means, and I could tell it was thoughtfully crafted, but for a similar menu price I feel like there are other Denver restaurants where I would feel I was really getting what I was paying for. Would still be a nice special occasion restaurant, and I always appreciate a farm-to-table approach which they do well.

    Dined during Restaurant Week—we are “foodies” & would rate Beast & Bottle as the best restaurant we have eaten at in quite awhile. Also the best French onion soup my husband has ever had!
