Simply a wonderful carvery meal in a rustic setting. The food is outstanding as is the service, everyone works hard and the ambiance is lovely. We highly recommend their Sunday carvery, a choice of Beef, Turkey, Pork and Gammon, with fresh vegetables and tasty honeyed parsnips and carrots, lovely big Yorkshire puddings, dauphinois potatoes, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes and lashings of hot gravy with a choice of side sauces. We go regularly for our Sunday carvery lunch. You can book a table on their website and this is a must as it gets booked up very quickly

First time for wedding anniversary. Went with close friends and table booked for 2:15 pm. Arrived and shown straight to table by very polite staff. Only issue throughout was minor but both of the ladies felt the table we had by some wall shelves was a little dark and the chairs being quite high back did not give support to lower back. Minor i know but for some the comfort is as important as the food. Furniture aside the menu which we had looked at beforehand was extensive and offered so much and Wow , when the meals arrived. The Ultimate Meat sizzler plate was massive and my Mac and Cheese Lasagne was to die for. I am a biggish eater but struggled to finish it all. Puddings had to be done and the Biscoff Churros and Eton Mess Sundae were outstanding. Would whole heartedly recommend this location and it will be somewhere i am happy to return to again very soon.

We had a great experience at No.23, our second visit. The food (all three courses) was exceptional as were the cocktails! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive from start to finish. We will certainly be back.

Little hidden treasure! We were visiting from America and staying in Teigh. We found this hidden gem in a little village close by and were easily able to book a reservation. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious! Some favorites from our meal were the Pecan Goat Cheese Salad, Seabream, Bavette Steak, and the Brownie.

Amazing food and a lovely atmosphere, will be booking again, and bringing the family.
