Food was delicious. Staff very attentive and friendly without being too fussy. Really enjoyed our evening.

We (husband and wife, both long-retired) enjoyed our lunch immensely. He had the sole, which he said was excellently cooked (he is a great fish cook himself so this is high praise). I had wonderful, fresh oysters followed by duck breast which was perfectly pink as requested with delicious and innovative accompaniments. We then had the raspberry dessert, also to die for. We were looking for an alternative to normal Sunday menu and we came across the white swan, I’m normally suspicious of such an extensive menu, but I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my generous smoked duck dish with accompanying rice and crackers. My mum really enjoyed her salmon dish. No room for puds. The roasts that we could see being served looked very good.

A lovely time, The waitress was very helpful explaining the dishes and was patient with us. The food was amazing, presentation and take. I will definitely return.

Great food. We all had the carvery. Polite and professional staff. Although we had a wait to go up to the carvery and I had to ask a few times if it was our turn. In the end we just went when the queue had gone. Lovely place tho. Certainly would return and recommend. Thank you.
