Food was delicious. Staff very attentive and friendly without being too fussy. Really enjoyed our evening.

We (husband and wife, both long-retired) enjoyed our lunch immensely. He had the sole, which he said was excellently cooked (he is a great fish cook himself so this is high praise). I had wonderful, fresh oysters followed by duck breast which was perfectly pink as requested with delicious and innovative accompaniments. We then had the raspberry dessert, also to die for. This boutique hotel was a great find and we will definitely be going back. The rooms are really beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The menu was lovely and the food delicious, the portions are generous and I struggled to eat two courses! Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. Really good service and atmosphere. The courtyard was a lovely surprise as from the front you do not realise how big it is.

Really excellent dining experience at this pub. My friend is veggie and there were four main veggie options but the chef also offered to adjust the menu to other veggie options (granted it was a quiet Tuesday so they had a bit more time to do this) Highly recommend & we will definitely be back soon.
