Great pub with lovely atmosphere Friendly staff and delicious food

Just back from a really delicious Sunday lunch at The Marquis, always attentive service and great atmosphere.

From the moment we walked in for a drink before dinner we were looked after really well. Everyone was polite and helpful making sure we enjoyed our food and evening.

Lovely meal and great service. I always get the duck salad as a starter at The Ivy and this time the amount of duck on the plate felt slightly lacking but the flavour was still incredible. The Blackened Cod was brilliant as usual, as well as the scallops and sea bass. Very pleasant experience

Excellent high tea and service, booked a table in the bay window with a lovely view. Very old house with great character and history.
