The Valiant Sailor is sat on top of the famous White Cliffs in Capel le Ferne, between Folkestone and Dover next to The Battle of Britain Memorial. It is a traditional family and dog friendly pub with a roaring open fire in the winter. The kitchen is open for lunch and dinner, serving delicious meals and snacks. We have a range beers plus a selection of fine wines, spirits and soft drinks. There is a large beer garden and a spacious car park. The pub is on the North Downs Way and is part of the Woodland Walk and we welcome ramblers and walkers. Beautiful setting overlooking the bay. The weather was fabulous while we were there so we were able to sit outside to eat. Service was very slow, portions were tiny and food wasn't hot. Staff were lovely but a bit stressed as it was so busy.

So glad we made it to Monday Asian Night ... ordered the 3 starters and shared them. A great way to try them all, I think the buttermilk chicken was my personal favourite. Followed by an amazing sri-lankan cod curry - simply some of the best food ever tasted and to top it off the new burnt basque cheesecake was everything I was hoping for! Never disappointed dining here!
