I’ve been to Steak 48 quite a few times now and it never disappoints. The service was wonderful. Mark Rogers was our waiter for the evening and did a tremendous job telling us about the specials, making recommendations, checking in on my wife and I and ensuring that our evening was special for our anniversary. The steaks (wife had the bone-in filet and I had the Australian wagyu) were both some of the best steaks that we’ve had. The crispy shrimp, beet salad, corn brûlée, and au gratin potatoes were the perfect accompaniment. Thank you to Steak 48 for a wonderful evening.

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and in a beautiful, verdant setting on the bayou. The food was great but the menu in the restaurant didn’t match what we reviewed online before deciding to go. The manager accommodated by making an omelet (seems like stand brunch fare and this was a brunch meal) that was mysteriously not on the menu, which was very nice. The bus person then dropped guacamole on my friend when clearing during the meal, making a spot on her new skirt. I think with some tweaks this could be a great restaurant. They need to get their online presence coordinated with their in person presence, they should have the wait staff understand that saying no (especially to a simple request like an omelet at brunch) is the last resort and they need to train their bus staff to take care not to drop food on the guests.

We went last night for the first time and LOVED it!! We had raw Oysters that were superb! Great Martinis as well. Will definitely go back.

My spouse and I had a very memorable and enjoyable experience at Uchi’s. We are already planning our next visit. The staff was highly professional and attentive. The food was simply fantastic. We were amazed at the high level of service provided while being at the counter seating.

This restaurant is a special place for lovers, friends and business associates who appreciate a refined atmosphere with excellent service and sensational food offerings There is a fine line between attention to the guests and allowing space for them to converse. This place has mastered the technique. We never felt neglected but always knew that someone was nearby should we require service. I truly appreciate an atmosphere where I do not have to raise my voice in order to be heard at a table of four. Thank you for an experience that we will remember for quite some time.
