From the warm reception we received on arrival through to the end of the meal, everything was flawless. Service was relaxed but very efficient. Although the restaurant was fairly busy, we didn’t have to wait too long for each course. The food was exceptional. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Fabulous food and lovely chef/ manager, recommend the lamb curry and the flat iron steak, cooked to perfection and delicious.

We returned after visiting the Pear & Olive a couple of times and it was a real joy again with wonderful food / great wine selection and perfect service both friendly and efficient. The quality and innovative food was wonderful and a lovely calm atmosphere to enjoy a meal . We will definitely be back and locals must support the hard work that all the staff put in to make it a success.

We booked a table for Sunday, unfortunately the new owners hadn’t been in long so their booking system was down and didn’t show our booking. It was ok, as they had tables spare but sadly no Sunday menu - only a limited one. Was disappointed but the food was still absolutely lovely, really good quality but portion sizes could have been bigger for the price. That being said, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The ambiance was lovely and the overall experience was good and we will definitely return when they have established their full menu!
