Steakhouse
Urban Farmer Denver’s seasonally-driven menu highlights nose-to-tail cuts of naturally raised meat, carefully curated by Executive Chef Chris Starkus, who was previously the Chef de Cuisine of Urban Farmer Portland. The restaurant focuses on in-house whole animal butchering and ways to use the entire animal throughout the menu. A communal charcuterie station offers guests an interactive and engaging space in which to ‘meet their meat.’

The steakhouse is not entirely focused on meats alone, and also offers soul nurturing sides, soups, and salads inspired by each season’s abundance. Post-supper sweets will be made in-house and include a variety of baked goods and selection of rotating ice creams and sorbets.

The food was delicious. Waitress was attentive but not overbearing. It was a quiet Sunday evening and we had a tasty leisurely meal. Loved the look and overall vibe. Great night with family.

Food was excellent. My only qualm was that we waited a long time to be served even after making reservations and being seated. Our waiter was nice but a little elusive. Still overall a great experience and delicious meal. We will definitely go back.

Wonderful food, beautiful presentation both on plate and with at-table food preparation. The atmosphere wasn't pretentious for the pricing, so it wasn't an intimidating experience at all. Overall great. My husband had a great birthday here.

Overall, everything was wonderful! I'd probably drop the price on a few items based on dinners I've had at other comparable restaurants. But everything we had was delicious! And our server Megan was very attentive. Would recommend for celebrations and other special dinners.

Having a brief staycation at the Oxford lead us to a fantastic brunch at UF! We Ubered in and enjoyed the unlimited mimosa bar. Our entree’s were great. The steak and eggs were prepared perfectly and my wife loved the breakfast sandwich. Their special sour dough English muffin is worth the trip back to try a burger next, as it’s the bun apparently. Sarah was fun and kept our mimosas full, excellent job! We will be back with the teenagers and try other things.

We did some charcuterie/ split a salad//steak flight/table side mushrooms. Charcuterie was good—spendy but good; very much enjoyed their wedge and the bacon jam; one of our steak cuts was way too over cooked and we should have said something but our waiter was slammed and didn’t want to make a big deal about it; schrooms could have been cut/chopped up more but they were good(not sure $18 good but pretty good). Wine flight was solid; small pours on the cocktails.

The food was fantastic and charcuterie was top-notch, especially all of the accoutrements. Quality cocktails too. We ordered the duck breast and a New York strip for our main courses. The duck was hands-down the best duck dish I've ever had. So much flavor, so rich. I will definitely go back for that. The dry aged NY strip was really good, but I went for the more expensive cut (grain finished) per our server's recommendation for some marbled fat and extra flavor. It was good! But very lean, and it wasn't until the last two bites that I got some charred fat on the bites to remind me what I was missing throughout the whole cut. I had to order a side of their house steak sauce (which is amazing, tangy) to bring a little more substance to the meat. Literally, that is my only criticism and it's because of the steak's price-point. We also decided last second to order the lobster mac n' cheese as a side. WOW - it is really good. And that's coming from someone who grew up in Maine. Full pieces of claw. Fresh. Tons of flavor. It's the real deal. Not to mention, the blue corn bread they serve complimentary with some whipped, salted butter is dangerously tasty.

This restaurant is pricey but worth the visit for those special occasions. Great customer service, accommodating to gf allergies and I'm sure they are great all around in that area. Food is delicious. Drinks are amazing. The staff is always so kind and helpful. This has become my boyfriend and I'd favorite spot. We love the mashed potatoes, restaurant grown mushrooms, steak sampler, also amazing fries and brussle sprouts. They have tasty gf bread you can ask for as a complimentary entre and the regular one is so good ask well! There desserts are all tasty as well! Bonus they are all about sustainability. Food is very fresh!

What a fantastic dinner! Service was great, setting was perfect, and food was delightful! Walked us through the menu, food portion size, etc. Drinks (including Pappy not yet on menu) were spot on along with the New York Steak Tasting...Waygu was as good as it gets! Highly recommend this place and will visit again soon!

I have to start with the staff - Ryan and the rest of the wait staff were outstanding! Sommelier Kate patiently helped us select the Kith & Kin - nice full bodied new world cab. The NY Steak Taster was excellent as were the various ribeyes, filets and NY’s ordered by our family. The Mac & Cheese, Brussels sprouts and Yukon gold purée were all delicious. For dessert - bananas foster and the butterscotch sundae were amazing!! We were fortunate to be in a private room in the back so the noise level was quiet for our group.

We have been to Urban Farmer 3X in the last 12 months, with visits to Denver. The first 2X the food was quite good, but this last brunch Jan 25, 2020, the food was noticeably only fair, and we were very disappointed. The waffles were soggy not crisp, the eggs benedict with grass fed beef were tough, the muffins were soggy not nicely toasted, and the beef not appetizing to look at and not tasty. We don't know if the kitchen has new staff and needs more training or what the problem was, but we won't return for awhile and instead will try another restaurant for brunch on our next Sunday visit to Denver. The wait person was attentive but seemed unengaged and was not friendly. The restaurant was not full, so that was not the problem. This was all a bit disappointing and embarrassing as we had guests with us and had been bragging about this fun restaurant we found where the food was fresh and well prepared and presented. We'll try one more time, but not right away. Please fix!!

Unfortunately a bit too loud for conversation, but that’s really the only negative thing I have to say about this place. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented, the staff was very hospitable, and the decor and ambiance truly was incredible. 10/10 will visit here again next time I’m in Denver.

Our server Tyler was attentive keeping us in the loop of when to expect our dinner. The table side mushrooms were awesome enough for our of four. We also had the fingerling potato tart👍
I had the scallops as entree & the presentation was beautiful.

Desserts were incredible.

Really great service. The food took a long time (the kitchen must have been backed up,) but they comped a huge portion of our ticket. The lion’s mane mushroom dish was so good!

I have received the worst service of anywhere in Denver at Urban Farmer. The first time it happened I thought it may be a fluke so I gave it another try and again received terrible service. Needless to say I will not be returning and I do not recommend Urban Farmer to anyone that values decent service.

The food was salty and took quite a long time to get out. The pricing was a bit high we felt for the food ($14 for a side - small cast iron pan of twice baked potatoes...). But I guess that’s typical for a steakhouse attached to a hotel. I think it would be better just for drinks.

Amazing food and service! We celebrated our engagement and 5 year anniversary and they greeted us with champagne, gave us special corn bread and to top it all off finished with a free dessert! Such a great experience... we will definitely be back!

The biscuit and gravy was good. So was the shaved ham Benedict. The avocado Benedict was a disappointment. Service and atmosphere were excellent.
