I took my grandma here to celebrate her birthday. This is our third year in a row! The Brown Palace does an amazing job with this dining experience. The ambience is historic and welcoming. The staff are kind, courteous, and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Our server today was Hiwat. Her sense of humor was infectious. She makes you feel like family. Hiwat made my grandmother’s birthday even more special. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness.

Didnt care for the food. Expensive. Seated in a separate room. I wouldnt come back. Waitress became irritated when my 89 yr old friend had to chg to vegan menu. Reservation flexible. Didnt like the piano music.

I enjoyed my tea experience with my friend. Food and tea were good as was my Kir Royale. We had nice servers too! It's a pretty and classic historic hotel. I'd come back!

For a traditional tea not much traditional. Cold scones, and stale macaroons. $245 for 1 adult and 2 kids.

Outrageously expensive, but I knew that going in. You are paying for the experience, not the food. To be clear, the food was very good, just not anything special. The live harp and piano music were beautiful and added greatly to the ambience without drowning out conversation.

While I always enjoy Hiwat and her great service the increase in price that I usually only see during the holiday did not match the experience. I love the brown palace but do have trouble justifying the price.
