   It was a delicious dinner in a lively and modern setting. I appreciated the white tablecloths, feels elevated and hygenic. They offer a tableside bread basket with yummy choices. I enjoyed a mini chive biscuit and a lavender bread. The salads we ordered were colorful and flavorful. I also loved the lentil curry plate. For dessert we shared the peanut butter cheesecake. Beautiful presentation and flavor! We rounded out our meal with a cocktail and glass of wine. Our server and food runners were very professional and personable too.

   Great server, indoor outdoor dining options, the restaurant happily split shared dishes in the kitchen before bringing to the table. “Bacon” with pea puree and artichoke tortellini are a must have. Kyoto Kiss creative & tasty cocktail.

   The food was awful. The chicken and pancake’s stone fruit sauce was exactly the same a McDonald’s sweet and sour sauce. Sadly I am not joking. I’ve been here many times for dinner but this time was horrific. We all left sick to our to our stomach. It ruined my Mother’s Day lunch.

   We’ve eaten at Rioja previously for dinner and was very good so we thought we’d go for brunch. Brunch menu was underwhelming. We were a little disappointed. The food was meh. For the caliber of a restaurant it is, we expected a better experience.

   Easy booking experience and walked right in to our table. Waiter was excellent and drinks and food arrived promptly. Wine and cocktails were also on point. We were done in 90 minutes and on our way. Great place, absolutely nothing to be unhappy with. If you’re looking for somewhere in downtown Denver on or around Larimer this is a great option. There is also seating outside on the Main Street but it was pretty windy so we dined inside, exposed brick decor all very nice.

   Drew our server was fantastic and the food was all incredible. Best octopus in Denver. Bartender John was also great and made wonderful drinks and was very knowledgeable on the wine list

   We had a wonderful experience at Rioja. We enjoyed absolutely everything! The appetizers were beautiful and delicious, the drinks were unique and delicious. The halibut and steak entrees were spectacular and stunning presentation! Our server was very helpful in our selections for the evening too. A wonderful choice for a spectacular evening!

    We are regulars at Rioja and always have a great experience. Today we favored the eggs benedict from the brunch menu and the wonderful beignets. Great food. Great service.
