Food and service was absolutely wonderful! Great happy hour prices for wine before we sat down at our table too.
Always consistent--good food, good service. And I love that it is in the neighborhood!
This place was a gem! Beautiful old building and easy to find. Street parking available as well. The food was fantastic! It was a birthday celebration and we let them know in advance. They treated us to some champagne to start to mark the occasion and of course ended with their homemade limoncello. You can get half size portions which is great for sharing or just a smaller portion. Would definitely go back, loved it!
It was delicious - the $7 side salad was entirely overpriced considering what you get. That said, this is a neighborhood gem. I highly recommend.
Delicious as always! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and there's no pressure to dine and enjoy the food and wine.
The food was amazing!!! A little heavy on the salt for me but we enjoyed our dinner .
My girlfriend and I love coming here, the service is always top notch, and the food is amazing.
The market pasta for New Years was INSANELY good, and the Olive Oil gelato blew our minds. Best I’ve ever had, anywhere.
Thank you Coperta for making the last night of our year so special!
Really a nice place with consistently good food.
My husband and I absolutely loved our experience! Very welcoming atmosphere and staff ... and the staff is highly educated on the menu, food items, history, wines, cocktails, Etc. It was so impressive! Dan, Kyle, and Mariana were absolutely FABULOUS! Wow! The dishes were exquisite. Everything we had is worth mentioning - Calamari ... Buffalo cheese ... Wisconsin Cow Milk ... Whole fish ... Grass fed Beef ... Pistachio torte ... and olive oil ice cream!! Please put this restaurant on your must list!
In-laws anniversary and took them there for the first time. They were blown away. Fab service, fab food
The food was good. The eggplant parm was especially good. Some of the pasta dishes are interesting and others (not made in house) are a little mediocre. But the service is what really made this restaurant. It was impeccable! Every single server was knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat, communicative and proactive. I would definitely go back.
Excellent seven fishes dinner. A little pricey for what you get but still a good experience. Maybe add In some cookies and limoncello next year.
Christmas Eve tradition for our family. Never disappoints. Outstanding food, service and beautiful location.
Christmas Eve dinner was delicious. Anything coming out of their wood fired grill is worth having!
Yummy cocktails and an excellent Italian wine list.
Our last course was salty. The manager came around and asked how it was. My wife said that hers was too salty to eat, I mentioned that mine was salty too. I will tell the chef. That was the end of it. Not “hey let me get a replacement, hey sorry about that”. Just got dropped. Like it never happened. Service was as great, best sauce I have ever had, but the whole not seeming to care about the issue we had, will make this a non starter in the future.
Absolutely astounding from start to finish Michaela is a fantastic hostess. Liana our server was an absolute angel we accidentally spilled water on our eggplant parm and they replaced it no issue. Truly exceptional service we will be back repeatedly.
Food is boring. Menu hasn't changed in 4-5 years and is extremely limited. The pork chop I ordered was so overcooked it was inedible and couldn't even be cut. The next one they gave me was so undercooked it was also inedible and very tough. Further the onions served with it had so much vinegar it made my eyes water. My wife's salad was filled with vinegar and inedible. This place needs a makeover. Cheese is the only good thing they have.
Food was bland and came out cold. Servers tried to accommodate, the business should have not charged for food, served cold.
Wait staff and chef went out of their way to meet customer food allergies, even to the point of coming up with alternate entrees so everyone could have an enjoyable meal. Kudos for that effort and the very good food offered as a result.
Another fantastic evening of incredible food, great wine and fun conversation. Just the best neighborhood place!
Always enjoy the atmosphere and food! Rarely disappoints...the service was perfect. Only complaint is the noise level....it tends to become too loud...
Amazing. Every time we go here we continue to be impressed with the food and the seasonal selections. A standout favorite in Denver!
Coperta was freaking amazing! Such a fun and culturally engaging restaurant. Staff were engaging and genuinely felt like they loved working there. They were eager to share about the history of the restaurant, they're approach to food and best recommendations for how and what to order. Looking forward to going back and trying everything else on their menu!
The service was fantastic but the food was just okay.
We had appetizer plate, two half-size pasta dishes, and the fish. The first appetizer dish was the sampler of multiple dishes. I am not sure how else to describe this dish but it just wasn't that good (all 4 of them). We tried the butternut squash ravioli and the orecchiette with sausage. Both were super salty (and I love salt), the pasta seemed undercooked, and the sausage didn't seem fresh. It was somewhat clumpy and just not super fresh. We ordered the fish special which was also salty and a fishy taste and definitely the full fish (bones, head and all), though my husband liked it. I will say that the meal was overall not as expensive as we would have thought. We really wanted to like this place, love Italian food but just couldn't get there. The service, however, was the best!
We enjoyed our meal very much.
The service was top notch.
The food was good. I only say good not great because my pork chop was way over salted.
Great experience on all levels! As always.
Fabulous Southern Italian Food. The entire meal was delicious. The lentil soup was FANTASTIC! Also loved the Rib appetizer. The pistachio pie was amazing as well.
We were fortunate to get a reservation! The most authentic and delicious Southern Italian fare! You can taste the love! Exceptional service and food! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Service was very good Food was a little too salty
A lot of staff always rushing around, nonstop. Meal was 5 star. Kind of noisy.
Atmosphere and service was great, but not very happy with the food. It was very expensive and not very good. Will not go back.
Great neighborhood restaurant. I would highly recommend.
Great food and great service!
All in all very good, food was a little on the salty side, but in general we really enjoyed our visit.
Excellent Southern Italian style cuisine, good wine list, good service. Will be back again!
Food and wine was fabulous!
Excellent food and service. A culinary treat with amazing flavor. Great wine list !
Always love Coperta. Great food, service, ambiance.
The Primi course was out of this world. Ragu was top 5 things I’ve ever eaten in my life.
Fantastic post-thanksgiving dinner with out of town friends. Love the vibe. Our meals were incredible. We live nearby and love this neighborhood gem.
