Even with limited patrons, it took us an hour to get our food. My husband was very disappointed with his pork chops being too salty. I had the rib-eye meatball which was tasty, but nothing to rave about. The beets were very good. All in all it was very expensive for a meal that was average.
The food was absolutely amazing!!!! And the staff was wonderful!!!!

What a great evening we had at Avelina! We were just hoping to find a spot in the middle to meet friends. What we found was a new restaurant to add to our regular routine. Angie, our server was amazing - she has a great personality and knew the menu perfectly. We tried some incredible food - the octopus was cooked to perfection, one of the best charcuterie trays we have ever experienced too! Everything was amazing and Angie made it even more enjoyable. Our whole party agrees, we will be back for more.
Kaelee was extraordinarily. By far one of the best bar tenders I've met in Denver. Amazing restaurant - highly recommended if you're looking for anything between a quick drink and an amazing meal. Created one of the most incredible ultimatum experiences. Shoutout to the head chef, and Kaelee for truly making us feel welcome and the exceptional experience.

This was our first visit to Avelina and it was awesome, already made reservations for another dinner! The service was spectacular. We shared the Boudin Blanc and Jagerworst Charcuterie boards for an appetizer, there was plenty for two, the Jagerworst was super tasty with the mustard seed topping! Best Brie I've had hands down. We also shared the Tomato Risotto, I loved this dish, the artichokes were so tender and sun dried tomatoes-yum! Avelina has landed on my regular local restaurant rotation, I'm excited to try more as their seasonal menu changes too!
We had dinner there with family from out-of-town. The food was outstanding. Two of us had the Striped Bass and it was absolutely delicious! Very creative menu and the staff was very warm and welcoming. The restaurant paid close attention to social distancing and all of the staff wore masks. It felt safe. The night we were there a number of rather loud drunk women were celebrating something or other; otherwise the noise level would have been fine!
Everything was really good but I would take the ribeye chimichurri preparation off the menu

Typically love Avelina but dinner last night was off. The charcuterie platter was a strange mix of pairings and our meals, especially the Brussels sprouts, were ridiculously salty. Shrimp scampi pasta was undercooked but the shrimp were cooked perfectly. The menu isn’t as interesting as it was pre-corona but that’s understandable as most restorable a reduced menu currently. They just need to up their game in the kitchen.

We did the 55 dollar, 6 course chefs choice and it didn’t not disappoint. We all left totally full and happy! The drinks were also super yummy. Will be coming back!
Can’t believe it took us a year of living in the Union Station to find it. One of the best meals ever. Started with great tuna tartare, then memorable tomato risotto, unbelievable duck, and a fabulous dessert! Highly recommend!
Duck breast with mole and beets was incredible, if a little pricey.
We have been coming to Avelina since it opened. As always, consistently delicious food and excellent service. Our favorite restaurant in Denver, period.
We had an amazing server and the food was incredible. Probably the best Cab Sauv I’ve ever had. Great spot for anywhere from casual get together to special occasion/fancy date night

Food was excellent, service was a bit slow even though the restaurant was less than half filled, noise level was distressingly loud even though the restaurant was only half filled and beverage I received was not what I ordered.
Crystal was an amazing professional!! Food was good. Pork dish was fantastic. Scallops were cooked well but overall dish was inconsistent. The duck was lovely. The sourdough bread and shrimp scampi entree fantastic. Octopus had great flavor but was cold. Cocktails were yum. We will be back. Impeccable service!!

As always, Avelina is our favorite spot. Our server Justin’s tonight made for a perfect evening filled with the most delicious food and fantastic drinks. We eat there multiple times a year, and plan to for a very long time!

The menu was excellent along with the service! The Burrata with shaved Foie Gras was delicious, although I would have preferred an actual piece of foie gras. The Ribeye was flavorful and tender. We shared a dessert that was just fantastic. We will be back!
Service at the bar was fabulous, the food was beautifully plated and tasted amazing. Will be returning in the near future for sure!

We had a group of 9 at our table. Our waitress handled our boisterous group with finesse. All agreed that the food was absolutely amazing! On a Saturday night, the restaurant was full, so somewhat noisy, but that was also our group. The ambiance is sophisticated and chic, without being pretentious. The Life's a Beet cocktail was original and unique, and dangerously delicious. I highly recommend the Espresso Martini as a dessert. I cannot say enough good things about this place, as we have never had an even remotely off experience...always perfect!!! Congrats to Exec Chef Josh on his most recent accolades and awards! Well deserved!
Food, wine and service were all outstanding. Both our server and the floor manager took care of us, and we felt very well-attended. My tuna tartare and flank steak were both delicious, and my date's carpaccio and short ribs were also outstanding. Would highly recommend.
Great dinner. The short rib was tender and full of flavor.. The brined pork tenderloin was melt in you mouth magic. The atmosphere was a bit dark for my preference but we enjoyed the experience.

We enjoyed Avelina during Restaurant week and our favorite dishes were the pork belly,
the tuna tartar, pork tenderloin and the Flat Iron steak. They also brought us a cup of their homemade salted carmel ice-cream for our friend's birthday! Nice atmosphere; good vibe! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything was very nice however, the noise level was extremely loud. There was a party of 8 celebrating something and they were literally shouting at their table. Someone should have told them to tone it down a little.

Went there for Denver restaurant week with three other people. Their selection of food is off the charts! The food was delicious, our server was excellent. He was friendly and attentive. I also love the atmosphere!

We went to Avelina for Restaurant Week 2020. They atmosphere was nice, and noise wasn't too loud. The service was excellent, and they had a fun bar with seasonal cocktails. We enjoyed our meal!
This was my second time here. My first time was a great experience where our wonderful server helped to guide us through the menu and pick out some amazing dishes. My experience for Denver Restaurant Week was somewhat ruined by our grumpy and non-interactive server. He seemed annoyed to be there, answered our questions with a single word response that was not helpful and seemed to have no interest in the job he was doing. The food was good and I like the ambiance but it is amazing how different your experience with a place can be based purely on the service.
Asked the server for suggestions which she happily gave. Suggestions were for main course and dessert. Both were fantastic! I appreciate specific suggestions instead of “everything is good”. I had dinner with an out of town guest - Avelina showcased the great restaurants we have in Denver!!
