The restaurant has a decent wooden décor, constructed with 300-years old barn wood from Brook Field's farm. Market Place Kitchen and Bar has a full-service banquet with modern business facilities for corporate events and meetings. Alex Lowe, the executive chef, has prepared a healthy menu for guests in Market Place Kitchen and Bar. Surf and turf is the specialty meal here. It is prepared with pork belly meat braised in duck fat for four hours. It is served with apple marmalade, caramelized scallops and house made kale chips. The ‘famous rigatoni Bolognese GF' pasta is prepared with sweet Italian sausage, milk-fed veal, pomodoro tomato cream, fresh ricotta, grana padano parmigiano cheese and fine herbs. The bar serves a variety of European wines and tap beers.

Had cocktails and two appetizers -- cauliflower and brussel sprouts, enjoyed both. I had sesame tuna pad thai and enjoyed it, had leftovers to bring home. Others ordered Caesar salad with crabcake, onion soup, octopus, and fish tacos (I usually order the tacos, very good).
