Wonderful charming Inn Delicious food and the most extraordinary staff that attend to every detail !

So I spent the last year and a half after I sold my house traveling the world and eating from Portugal, Costa Rica to Bali. And the dinner I had had Harriman’s last night was just absolutely wonderful. Our server, Terry, was knowledgeable and fun and laughed with us. Quite frankly my partner was pretty inventive on some of the things that she wanted extra. Extra peanuts on the broccoli, extra sauce on the duck, or the pasta, peppermint teas to go, dessert by the fireplace and Salamander, the hotel in which the Harriman’s resides, just rolled with it all. And it was my birthday and a birthday cake was very special, and they accidentally misunderstood that we wanted our leftovers. So they got rid of our leftovers, they realized it and basically gave us “leftovers“ that were brand new dishes. That was the octopus and, the brussels sprouts. The brussels sprouts were beyond amazing. The best I’ve ever eaten. The duck was excellent  Compliments to our server Terry, compliments to Ken, a young man with whom the conversation is fulfilling, …He has worked in some of the best places and he’s only 25. Just go and talk to him it’s fun. And filing to our Sanchit. Another young man, a beautiful soul that works here and another person’s wonderful to be around. Like I said it was a special night.

Went here for my anniversary with my wife just yesterday. We’d eaten here once before on Valentine’s Day earlier this year. From what I remember they had good food when we were last there in Feb. but they had a special Valentine’s Day menu that’s different from their normal one. I put in a reservation for us and we had a great time. The food was delicious, seasoned perfectly and didn’t taste undercooked. They have a small menu and it’s a little expensive, but it’s well worth it. The ambience was very quiet and relaxing, but when we went around 5pm on Wednesday there were only two other couples there. The music playing over the speakers wasn’t obnoxiously loud either, just right. Service was impeccable and our waiter was phenomenal with presentation, explanation of dishes, and professionalism. The choice of desserts and flavors was great too. Overall I highly recommend going here at least once to treat your palate to a delectable dish for yourself or your SO.

We had the roasted red pepper soup as a special and it was beyond divine! Then we ate the best thing ever: fried green tomatoes with pork belly and blacked shrimp on top. Next we had the chocolate terrine. I cannot say enough about the food quality and service. It was all perfect. And this is why my group drives 1 hr and 15 minutes each way to get there!

We love our evenings at Regions, the food and staff are always so great.
