Shoreline Restaurants

This was our first visit to Salt & Iron, but it certainly will not be our last. I had the 8 oz. filet and it was outstanding - tasty and grilled to perfection. My wife had the halibut and raved about how good it was. But what stood out above all else was the service. Our server, Diane, was extremely attentive and professional, but still very friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed, but without hovering. And if you go to Salt & Iron, be sure to treat yourself to some ice cream for dessert! Yum yum!

We had a truly delightful birthday dinner at Cedar+ Elm. The Lodge is lovely and the dining room was comfortable and very nicely repurposed from its original use by the seminary. The menu had many unusual and interesting offerings and everything we had was delicious. The service was outstanding. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about all of the things on the menu, a number of which we were unfamiliar with. She made it easy to decide with her detailed descriptions. We will go back and next time we'd like to spend the night at the Lodge and explore the park in the daylight. It was very dark in mid-December when we went so we couldn't see much of the park but it's worth a return trip.

Excellent as always. It’s why we keep coming back. The food was incredible and the service amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here. Wait staff is incredible—hard working, attentive, friendly, and professional. That alone is worth it as many Seattle area restaurants fall terribly short in this department. Our meal was delicious! Seasoned well and good portion sized. I had the Oso Buco special and my partner had the filet. I’m not going to lie, between those items and two glasses of their most expensive wines, we did spend some money. But I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again. The quality of service, food, wine selection, and decor made for a great date night. The noise level is admittedly high inside the restaurant, but I did notice there is heated outdoor patio seating and perhaps it’s better out there. That said, it wouldn’t stop us from going there again. It bustles like neighborhood bar/cafe.

Great restaurant with a diverse menu. From raw oysters, to small plates including the poke tacos, to an assortment of larger dishes, Bar Dojo is an excellent choice. Good drink menu as well. Plus, the restaurant has its own parking lot which makes visiting it so much easier.
