Vacaville Restaurants

There are not enough STARS available to give this place a proper rating! Scala never disappoints, in part to Rosa whose "hands on" touches are everywhere! Our server Tavo is truly our favorite if you are lucky enough to get him, but all are great, and food is to die for. This time we started with bubbles, then a Persimmon and Tuna Carpaccio. Next up were Oysters which they always have the best, freshest available from each coast. Then a perfect Caeser followed by a main of Veal Scaloppini for me and Ravioli for my daughter- everything was PERFECT except we did not have enough room left for dessert this time (so time to book another res:)

The service was outstanding. Though the lunch menu was limited , the food was good. The location is a bit difficult to find, but it’s in a lovely section of the historic downtown and it’s a nice walk in the blocks around.

Selections for lunch were very good, and the full menu was available for lunch as well. We enjoyed the restaurant; the service was excellent and what we ate was delicious.

Food was very good and our waiter was excellent. However, one dish (chicken parmigiano with pasta and white sauce was dry). The open room with high ceiling makes for a very noisy eating experience. My wife and I will return, but on a less busy evening.

BJ’s restaurant and Brewhouse Vacaville is a great location. Great quality of food and customer service.
