Service was good though not over powering. Our meals were excellent. There were only a few other tables occupied so noise level was very low. The butter lettuce is absolutely the most tender lettuce I have ever had they get their food, dishes right! We sat at the east end of the front portal, with a view of the mountains. It was exquisite. A lovely evening, and staff checked to make certain it wasn't too windy (it wasn't, but they have wind protection they can pull down as needed). We were cared for attentively and they have a good sense of order, pacing, and are well informed about the menu. The food was incredible, and we wanted everything on the menu. Paying the price for fine dining is ONLY worth it when you have this type of experience. I definitely will return. This is the place to go for great food, good price and a view that is incredible when you walk up the stairs to get a picture on the bench. We had a large party, they took great care of us. Tableside quac is good ask for you own preparations. We have eaten here for 26 years. A must when you visit Santa Fe. The other Las Vegas – the one in New Mexico – is a small, charming city with an accent on southwestern cuisine. Restaurants are clustered in a few areas. In the western part of town, in the stretch along National Ave. between 12th St. and S. Pacific St., you’ll find a number of good selections including Italian / pizza and Mexican / southwestern restaurants. Along Grand Ave. and off some of its intersecting streets, there’s a variety of American and diner / café places. The place to go for fast food is 7th St. near Mills Ave., with a good number of the most popular chains available. Other options in town include steakhouse fare and Vietnamese / Asian. The area is great for picnics, so consider grabbing food to-go for a day of exploring.
