We got oysters and calamari for appetizers, the seared ahi and linguine with clams and prawns for dinner, and the crème brûlée for dessert and it was all delicious. You get good value for the money that you spend here and the food is excellent. It's difficult to say whether or not Meridian's restaurants are responsible for the city's explosive population growth (of over 80% since 2000), but you can be sure that the numerous state-of-the-art eateries in Idaho's third-largest city don't hurt its appeal! Meridian restaurants offer quite a few delicious dishes and various types of food, but barbecue and comfort food lovers will truly feel at home. Nearly every street in the city is packed with locally owned pubs, grilles and barbecues, all of which use tried-and-tested cooking techniques and seasonings in coordination with fantastic meats.
