- CCarolKansas City / Kansas •9 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoWe went there for the oysters, but they were very expensive. The good thing is that there are many tasty menu options to choose from. We had a large group and the waiter was good. We ended up sharing a bowl of the clam chowder which was fabulous and also had the perch dinner. Fish tacos looked great too!More infoTom's Oyster Bar Royal OakPrice: Moderate• American• Royal Oak•4.1

- MMikeSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThe food and staff are always outstanding at D’Amatos. We only recently discovered D’Amatos during Royal Oak Restaurant Week. But we have returned multiple times even though it is 35-40 minutes from our home. Each time, Marvin has been our server, providing the utmost in kind and professional service. We have now tried a variety of appetizers, main dishes, drinks and desserts-all outstanding with generous portions. In addition to Marvin, we have had the pleasure of speaking with the hostess, manager and the person who took great care in making sure our table was cleared after each course. Every one of them goes out of their way to make sure their customers feel welcomed. Highly recommend.More infoD'Amato's Restaurant & Goodnite Gracie Martini BarPrice: Expensive• Italian• Royal Oak•4.7

Discover Hazel Park
Detroit is making a comeback, and Hazel Park is one of its hippest new neighborhoods. Its low rent attracts a young, artistic crowd to the area, and cool restaurants have followed them. Many of Hazel Park's restaurants are inexpensive and cater to a young crowd that wants a casual dining experience in which to socialize. There are old-school diners and burger joints with cash-only service and even a restaurant with a handwritten menu. Deep-dish pizzerias dot the streets alongside Irish college pubs. There are plenty of places where visitors can grab a quick and cheap dinner. Even upscale venues with more sophisticated menus attract locals and travelers.
