- OTOpenTable DinerCincinnati / Dayton •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThis is Jeff Ruby's so we expected a premium experience and price. But lunch prices were below expectations, and the service surpassed our high expectations. Waiter made good recommendations. They made it easy to share dishes, and were attentive in a non-pressured way. The manager also stopped by. Overall we had a festive holiday lunch and will be back!More infoJeff Ruby's Steakhouse - CincinnatiPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Central Business District•4.9
- IIainCincinnati / Dayton •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe were sat promptly with a reservation. Our waiter was attentive although she did bring the wrong drink and our drinks in general took around 10-15 mins to come out. Bread service was really good. Atmosphere was really cool but it would have been better if we weren’t so close to the other table the noise was really loud. My girlfriend loved her food and filled her up she got the salmon piccata. I got the lemon spaghetti dish it was good! Although I wish it was a bigger portion size. It didn’t fill me up which is what i expect for paying $20 for a pasta dish. The price for portion was not equivalent. We got the smoked honey apple cocktail and we both loved it. Overall a good experience.More infoMama's on MainPrice: Expensive• Italian• Covington•4.8
- EErickaCincinnati / Dayton •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI had a special date with a 4yo that has a dairy/milk allergy who wanted spaghetti. It's difficult to take him for Italian as many restaurants have dairy in their marinara and bread. They were accommodating and verified with the chef, and even brought him a dairy free sorbet desert that was apparently delicious. The staff also had wikki sticks and crayons for kid activities which was a pleasant surprise because I previously didn't consider Sotto a child friendly place to dine. In the back near the restrooms you can watch staff make pasta which was amazing letting him stand/move around and expend energy waiting for the food arrive to not bother other guests, and to avoid hangry meltdowns. :) The kids linguine noodles with marinara was tasty and we asked for extra sauce for him to dip bread, which ended up being his favorite. They were busy at lunch time and my daughter was running late 15mins, the waitress was kind and delivered the salads/apps, and waited on my guest to arrive for ordering the main portion. (Always tip accordingly when holding up a table!). I ordered the breaded pork loin which is my favorite!!! If you enjoy lemon it will be yours too. My daughter ordered penne vodka and it was also great. We both enjoyed a black kale caesar salad with extra anchovies and they delivered!More infoSottoPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Central Business District•4.9
