Tonbridge Restaurants

I have been to the Petts Wood restaurant and wanted to try this location. I was not disappointed, itwas up to the same high level. Food was lovely, the waiters were attentive but not too much And was a very enjoyable lunch.

Friendly service and super paella at a restaurant within easy walking distance in the Pantiles of Royal Tunbridge Wells

I love the ambience and decor of the Ivy in Tunbridge Wells and have been several times. It wraps you up as soon as you walk in the door. This time I ordered the truffle and mushroom linguine and wish I hadn't. The linguine was overcooked and I could not taste truffle at all. It was more like linguine in a mushroom soup. My friend had a stilton salad which he loved so it wasn't all bad. We didn't get asked if we wanted dessert despite being at the table for about 40 minutes post mains, even though it wasn't busy as it was afternoon. I would usually have the shepherds pie which is always delicious but expected other things on the menu to be as good. So.. not the best visit but maybe an off day.

Beautiful restaurant, great food and marvellous service! Overall excellent!
