We were properly spoilt with extra nice touch from the very start, fine drinks, gourmet food, with a surprise birthday treat and yummy little sweet treats at the end. We ordered a range of food from jacket potato to egg and mayonnaise on sourdough to soup and a sandwich. All extremely fresh and well presented. Good portion sizes. Fair prices. Took my 10 year old niece for her birthday & the staff were just delightful with her. The chef came out to talk to her personally as she is very interested in food & does a lot of cooking. Every single dish was not only delicious but well thought about and cooked perfectly. The dessert was to die for (choux bun filled with pistachio ice cream). The service was exemplary - instantly felt welcome - so friendly. Thank you for such a lovely evening.
