Open Tuesday to Sunday with food served all day from noon.We now have 3 Giant heated Tipis, they provide lots of fresh air and a lovely open environment, they are also heated.Formerly an 18th Century farmhouse boasting exposed beams, oak floors, exposed brickwork and oak tables. This leads to a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere with candle lit tables and real flame stoves.The cuisine is typically modern European, classically cooked using cornerstones such as stock pots to create their sauces with a brigade that has a passion for what they do. It was lovely to be back at my wedding venue to show my friend around. The food was good, however the cakes and bread for the sandwiches were slightly on the drier side and the bread used for the cream cheese and cucumber had been cut with the crust left on from what seemed like very basic white bread, which I wouldn’t expect from somewhere like this. The cakes also didn’t match what was on the menu. I don’t think I got my baileys and espresso cheesecake which I was really looking forward to. A shame, as I had a lovely afternoon tea here back in 2023 and was expecting the same quality today but unfortunately it fell a little flat this time.
