Crawfordsville Restaurants

It was a bit loud when we sat down. I think it was primarily due to the table of 5 ladies right next to us. Our waitress, Lexie, was great. The restaurant was so pretty inside and out. We all enjoyed our food. We had the 12 layer club with truffle fries, kids ham and cheese sandwich, broccoli soup with mascrapone, choose 2 of the turkey & Gruyère sandwich and the broccoli soup. Our drinks were pixie pop, petunia punch, s’mores mocha and a pot of Carcadet Nuit D’ Ete tea. The tea was perfect and I preferred the petunia punch over the pixie punch. We got a slice of the mint chocolate chip cake, pixie fettie birthday cake, Earl’s court chocolate cake to go. Our daughters were sprinkled with pixie dust. There was an acknowledgment card on the table for my oldest’s daughter’s birthday, which I noted on the reservation.

St Elmo’s was great as usual! The service and food were outstanding! I am gluten free and they always do a great job to ensure no cross contamination occurs. My only complaint was the cost of the valet parking. We were already 15 minutes late because of traffic (to which i apologized and St Elmo’s was accommodating about .). I understand that a lot of people use their valet while they attend local events, but $50 for valet parking while I’m eating at your establishment seems very excessive. I had already paid for parking at Lucas oil and was truly using valet only while I was eating at St Elmo’s.

First of all, the remodel looks great and allows for many more customers which is great. This is our go-to for any special occasion as Rick's is the ONLY nice restaurant on the westside of Indianapolis and they did not disappoint. Our Server, Sadie, was excellent, attentive without being annoying, and got everything right. The food was amazing all the way around. 2 of the party had the sticky ribs and gave HUGE thumbs up. Meaty, no fat, smokey mesquite and a nice sweet/hot sauce. I had the Korean fried Chicken Sandwich and it too was fabulous. The other person had the pork chops which are really a great value and super tasty, thick, smokey, done perfectly. Thanks Ricks. Glad that things are back to your old glory plus some.

I want to give a huge shout out to our local White Castle. It was my brides choice restaurant for Valentines dinner. Every year they take reservations and decorate and this year they went all out. They take your order and bring the food over. My bride even got a cute gift bag. 5 stars to all. Thank you.
