Far from an afterthought, each zero‑proof pour was crafted with the same care and imagination as the dishes themselves—bright, layered, and perfectly tuned to the flavors on the plate. What truly set the night apart, though, were the stories. Before each course, the team shared the snippets about unexpected childhood memories behind the ingredients and techniques. Those little narratives stitched the whole experience together, turning dinner into a heartfelt conversation between kitchen and table. Cannot recommend enough.

I had the Apple/Walnut Salad with grilled chicken - it was amazing! Others in my group had the burgers and fish & chips. All the burgers are made with grass fed beef. My brother-in-law said the fish & chips was very good. This is a casual place with over 40 local beers on tap - it’s a great night out with friends and family.

Overall we had a very good experience. There were four of us who ordered the sea bass and one piece was the end of the fish. It was overcooked and not good. Wish the chef had not scrimped on the fish. Cocktails are awesome and we had great service.

Another great dinner at Trillium. Staff was friendly and efficient. Dinner came out fast and hot. I had my favorite chicken and waffles and it was delicious. The chicken was very juicy and full of flavor. It was a bit spicy for me but I think you can tell the kitchen that you want less heat. My husband had the smoked chicken and kasha salad which he also enjoyed. We appreciated the General Manager stopped by to say hi and see how dinner was. Trillium is located in the beautiful Grove Hotel in downtown Boise. It’s an added plus that they have complimentary valet parking when you’re there for dinner. We love Trillium and highly recommend them for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
