Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor
Grace’s on Kirby is a warm, inviting Southern-inspired restaurant where comfort meets tradition. With roots in both Sicilian and Louisiana cooking, our menu reflects the flavorful, home-cooked meals that owner Johnny Carrabba’s grandmother, Grace Mandola, lovingly prepared for generations of family and friends. Grace’s was created in her honor, a place where heartfelt hospitality, made-from-scratch dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere come together for every occasion. Whether you’re joining us for a casual dinner, celebrating a special event in one of our private dining spaces, or enjoying our lively weekend brunch, you’ll feel like part of the family. And when you’re craving comfort food without doing the heavy lifting, Grace’s is the perfect place to order a delicious to-go meal made with care!

While brunch on Saturdays and Sundays is primarily first come, first served with our priority seating list, we encourage you to call us directly if your preferred time isn’t available online.

Had a wonderful time at Julep as a pre-show drink and meal. Sending array of craft cocktails to choose from. I loved that they can make a penicillin, which requires fresh ginger. Also tried one of the Julep drinks, pretzel, and flatbread pizza. All great.

An homage to the San Jacinto Inn, La Lucha offers a unique and indulgent menu complete with the freshest Gulf Coast-only oysters, shrimp, crab, warm biscuits and satisfying fried chicken dinners. Meaning “the Fight,” in reference to the Battle of San Jacinto, La Lucha embraces it’s rebellious side with its beverage selections, surprising guests with a variety of bubbly wines, outstanding craft beers and the essential stellar tequila and mezcal offerings. La Lucha’s comfortable atmosphere pays tribute to chef-owner Ford Fry’s childhood memories, meshes timeless and industrial with a few nods to the 70s.

All in all it was a good experience for a birthday celebration. Tablets are small for the type of restaurant.

The jubilant medley of old favorites played with new spice, accent, and freshness lends itself to southern, American, Latin, Gulf Coast, German and Asian influences. We had a wonderful dinner yo celebrate our wedding anniversary. We loved the oysters, shrimp and crab fingers. Wine was exceptional. I had a Muscadet. I thought the Endive and peach salad was excellent. Blackened snapper and blackened snapper was a little too spicy for my liking, but still good.
