Visited the Chop House the evening of 1/1/2023. We had a table reserved but decided to eat at the bar as we enjoy the cozy atmosphere. We had the strip steak, mashed potatoes and asparagus. This was my second time visiting Mortons. I first visited Mortons in Atlanta, GA. I had the 22oz ribeye there as well. Although the ribeye was good at the KOP location but the one in Atlanta had a nice char on it like it was flame grilled. Everything else was the same. Mekalah was amazing. As I used to work in the restaurant industry, I watched every step Mekalah made, and she followed the steps of service without missing a step. Very efficient and attentive, friendly, and kept the same friendly demeanor even when she had to take on more tables. The food was good, but Mekalah made the experience. Every time I dine at this location, I will be asking for Mekalah.

Do not for one moment be put off by the fact that Brio is a chain. The food is very good. In fact, it's better than many neighborhood Italian restaurants. I often order their veal. It is one of the few places that consistently prepares veal well. Their salads are good and fresh. The Wedge is a favorite as they include generous portions of bacon and blue cheese. Every single pasta dish that we've had we enjoyed. Their mushroom sauce with pasta is to die for. The service is universally excellent. Our most recent visit being no exception. The servers genuinely work to make the dining experience better. The pricing is very good. Everything in this world has gotten more expensive. Brio's prices are still reasonable.

Not enough superlatives to describe our experience. Our waiter, Adrian, was personable, knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive to us. He asked if we were celebrating anything special and we were celebrating a birthday and wedding anniversary. He brought us a plate with "Happy Anniversary " written in chocolate and accompanied by 2 chocolate-covered strawberries. Nice touch. The food is always second to none.
