It was an amazing experience at The Grand Marlin! They gave us the most romantic spot with an amazing ocean view. The waitress was the best and the food was fantastic.

We were out of town visitors staying in Panama City Beach and were looking for a place to have a nice dinner. We asked the bar tender at our hotel where a nice place to eat at was and preferably a locals favorite. He recommended Grand Marlin. Four of us had entrees and they were all delicious. 3of us had the crab cakes 🤤🤤 and one had the Crusted Grouper 🤤🤤. For appetizers we had the gulf shrimp, tuna and avocado Poke and hush puppies.They were delicious as well. Zack was our waiter and he did a fabulous job. We considered returning the next night but opted to try another place.

Amazing food and superb attention, can't remember our server's name, but she was incredibly helpful and attentive. Don't miss the Flight of Porto at the end of you dinner.

Seagar's Prime Steaks and Seafood, located in the iconic Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, is the area's only AAA Four-Diamond steakhouse. Seagar's specializes in the finest prime beef and freshest seafood available on Florida's Emerald Coast, and offers a wine list that has repeatedly garnered Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence."

Seagar's brings traditional elegance back to the fine-dining experience, complete with private dining options, captain service, sommelier service and tableside preparation of items that include steak Diane, Dover sole and its signature bananas foster.

Seagar's also features a private-reserve wine list of more than 600 wine labels. The lounge offers guests full dining service and live piano entertainment.

Dress code is Sophisticated Casual. Gentlemen are asked to wear collared shirts, long pants and closed toe shoes. Jackets not required but appreciated. No beachwear, athletic wear or casual attire including hats and flip-flops.

Seagar’s (pronounced like “cigars”) is outfitted in the style of an old urban American steakhouse—which leverages its proximity to the Gulf coast to offer stand-alone dishes or accompaniments of a treasure trove of seafood. Jeremy very capably and attentively assisted Captain Paul in taking great care of the three of us. From the white table cloth and complimentary bread service, it was a pleasant, unhurried gastronomic experience. One to slow down and savor. My mojito was minty/zesty without being overpowered by the rum; and my dinner companions were pleased with their wine selections—a NZ Sauvignon blanc and a Chardonnay, respectively. The French onion soup was so good that I considered using my cocktail straw to retrieve the last couple of millimeters of it hiding at the base of the crock. The ladies’ salads were fresh and crispy, and virtually a meal in themselves. Our entrees, U8 scallops, grilled grouper, and bone-in filet acquitted themselves admirably. Tipping the hat to the sweet tooth, berries and cream was a restrained but pleasing finish. A meal at Seagar’s can be a bit pricey; but becomes a special occasion

It was an excellent night, the food and service were phenomenal. We did have a significant wait (15 minutes) to receive our vehicles back from valet. Other than that all was excellent.
