Excellent tapas (try the grille artichokes). Wines pair well with the food and are reasonably priced; I especially recommend the dry sherries. I've been there several times and the servers have always provided good advice on both the food (quantity) and wine. It's one of my go-to restaurants in Santa Fe when I'm not hunting for green chili.

Food was very good. Check in was delayed due to bus boy issues…….kitchen was understaffed and confirmed to us so food (delicious) was a bit slow in processing courses. I was asked a number of times to reconfirm. My reservation. Overall, worthy of another try. Seems service would have better if it would have been a busier time of day?

My wife, I, and another couple had an early dinner prior to attending a concert. My wife and I had dined at Zinc several times before, and had high expectations that were indeed met. My wife and I started with a glass of wine and our friends had a couple of their specialty cocktails that they thought were excellent. Two of us had their halibut topped with a nicely seasoned tomato-olive relish and included kale gnocchi. One of our party felt that the gnocchi was a bit on the dry side but otherwise tasted good. The other two had spanokopita, which our party said was the best they ever had. Following the entrees, each couple split a salad that, while good, was not exceptional. We split a bottle of Frogs Leap Sauvignon Blanc that went well with both entrees. Each couple split a couple of desserts, which everyone enjoyed. Service was very good, especially as we had a time constraint owing to our concert.

About the restaurant
Our mission is to open a few restaurants that take care of our guests in every way-treating them like guests in our home, making sure that they feel embraced by the joy with which we extend our hospitality, and making sure that they become entranced by our restaurant. We understand the value of 'regulars' returning weekly and in many cases more frequently. We hope that all of our guests will feel that they belong to a private club, to which we welcome them again and again. M'tucci's Moderno located in Rio Rancho is a sister of our first restaurant, M'tucci's Italian, which is located at Coors and Montano on Albuquerque's West Side. At Moderno, we continue to offer a moderately priced, Italian menu built on a foundation of both traditional and contemporary recipes. The menu, together with the bar (full liquor license) menu, is offered in a contemporary building with black steel elements, high ceilings, and a big garage door that opens to the Sandia Mountains. Inside the steel, we have inserted a more traditional looking wood clad restaurant featuring traditional lighting and Edison bulbs, as well as other playful elements. Our congenial bar and mezzanine offer alternative spaces within which to enjoy M'tucci's food and beverage. Moderno's bar program features our unique shrubs as well as a new collection of original cocktails to complement our food and wine. Our mezzanine can also be reserved for private groups. M'tucci's Moderno is located just west of Presbyterian's Rust Medical Center. At the end of 2016, Jeff Spiegel, Katie Gardner, and John Haas, founders of M'tucci's Restaurants, welcomed five new partners to their ownership team: Austin Leard, Sherri Rivenburgh, Cory Gray, Shawn Cronin and Chris O'Sickey. This ensures that M'tucci's Restaurants are here for the long haul.

We ate here twice while in Albuquerque. It’s the best option in old town for Southwestern cuisine in my opinion. Dishes we ordered included shrimp enchiladas, the seafood pasta, and the chicken enchiladas. Everything was excellent. Service was attentive and professional. Their standard margarita was one of the better that we had in a two week trip in the southwest. Their high end Margarita had a cucumber that I can’t recommend, but the prickly pear margarita was excellent. One night was a birthday dinner, they acknowledged the birthday, gave us great table, and comped us a dessert, tres leches cake, which was delicious. Easily walkable from all hotels in the old town Plaza area, we really enjoyed our experience. Prices are moderate, but reasonable compared to many of the other higher and local eateries.

The lower rating is due to the confusion with the reservation. Ranchers Club restaurant is NOT open for business or taking reservations. We were looking forward to a nice steak dinner prior to the live entertainment they had arranged for the evening. When we arrived, we sat and dined in the Ranchers Club Lounge, which was having a “soft-reopening”. The place is beautiful. Service was great considering there was only one person working. They are still working out the kinks for their reopening and are struggling to find good/reliable employees (just like everywhere else these days). The drinks were great, food was delicious, and entertainment was awesome. Hopefully, this is a good start leading them to reopening the Lounge and then eventually the entire restaurant.

Santa Fe
About the restaurant
Chef-owned and operated for more than two decades, 315 is dedicated to serving both modern and contemporary French cuisine inspired by seasonal local ingredients. With a grassroots initiative, almost every dish is prepared from scratch using exceptional care in the procurement of every ingredient. In this way, we pay respect to the community by finding new ways to support Santa Fe’s unique culture of food and art.

French food is much more than the classic dishes we all have learned to know and love. It is a philosophy within its composition and a discipline in its technique. Using carefully selected ingredients, we look for ways to enhance a dish rather than overwhelm it. This is where the dance begins between the food and the wine.

About the restaurant
Originally from Mexico City, Chef Fernando Olea, formerly Chef of Epazote, has been enthralling diners in Santa Fe since 1991. Chef Olea creates sophisticated flavors using Old Mexico’s indigenous and culinary traditions alongside ingredients from around the world. His menu is deliberately small, featuring fresh and locally sourced produce and meats when possible.

Nothing evokes the mystery of Mexican cuisine more than mole, a sauce of complex flavors that usually includes toasted and ground spices, seeds, nuts, chocolate and chile. Many mole recipes contain more than thirty ingredients and some recipes have five varieties of chile alone. Chef Olea is delighted to share his moles that include his "New Mexican Mole" that he created to commemorate Santa Fe’s 400 year anniversary in 2009. The large mural in the main dining room, was painted and presented to Chef Olea by Federico Leon De La Vega, a well- known artist from Mexico City.

wait staff very professional and attentive. The chef stopped by our table. We were able to tell him how much we were enjoying our meal. The crab soup (can’t remember the exact name) was probably one of the best gourmet soups I’ve experienced. We had two complementary flutes of champagne, as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Savoy has always been our go-to restaurant for both fine food and a great wine list. The main course was a perfectly cooked filet mignon with excellent sauce. While some other restaurants might be able to pull that off, combining that with a 12-year old Cote Rotie (French syrah) is the tour de force. This was preceded by a nicely prepared Oysters Rockefeller and Caesar Salad with the optional added anchovies (of course). Keep up the good work.
