The dome-shaped venue on the Hoe, aptly named The Dome, was designed by architect Tony Irish. The Dome was first opened in July 1988 as part of Mayflower commemorations in Plymouth and started life as a local museum and tourist information centre.

Designed to have the Art Deco feel and opulence of a 1930s ocean liner, the venue’s bar will feature an extensive wine and gin list, a selection of cocktails plus a full range of beers, ciders and soft drinks.

L’attenzione alle regole del galateo è stata da 10 e lode, un equilibrio perfetto tra formalità e calore, che ha reso la serata ancora più piacevole. Il servizio è stato scandito da tempi impeccabili: mai un’attesa eccessiva, mai un momento di fretta. Ogni portata è arrivata al momento giusto, permettendo di assaporare ogni sapore con la giusta calma. L’atmosfera nel cuore di Covent Garden ha dato quel tocco in più a un’esperienza già magica, rendendo questa cena indimenticabile. È stato davvero il compleanno perfetto, celebrato nel modo migliore possibile. 64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.

We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of.

We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.
