Food and service were excellent like always. However, I would appreciate if the piano player could be a little softer (perhaps put the piano lid down).

At Bolero the customer is in charge of the timing on our wide selection of churrasco(skewers) to be brought to your table by our Gaucho Chefs. Green means go and Red means stop. A perfect setting for any festive occasion as we offer a wide range of different, cocktails, wine, and beer. Dining with friends and family was meant to be fun, the Brazilian way!

Great experience, thank you for the great service. The meats came often and we enjoyed the great selection, and the pineapple was excellent.

The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests.

Sit down beside the massive fireplace in the Grand Salon or enjoy the covered wrap-around veranda during warm weather. Enjoy lunch, dinner, cocktails or weekend brunch. Reservations are recommended. Please note that we do not take reservations for the patio.

Our décor is warm and modern. The tradition has always been dark wood, leathers and a muted palette for a steakhouse. We broke the mould and decided to add hand-selected music that reflects us! We’re more like Jay Z and less like Sinatra.

We only serve ranch specific Alberta Beef. That means we don’t serve beef from anywhere else on the planet. We know our farmers and ranchers personally and respect the hard work they put in to produce our beef.

We are one of just a handful of steakhouses in Canada that serves, Grass-fed, Grain-fed, Wet-aged, Dry-aged and Wagyu beef 365 days a year. Our beef is always fresh never frozen.

We use a 1800 degree Infrared Grill to cook your steaks. The high heat creates a flavourful crust on the outside of the steak and leaves a juicy centre.

We went to celebrate my wife’s confirmation, the place is really nice with all the decorations involves you into that colourful experience. The food was really good the butter chicken fingers were my favourite and the mimosas with the cotton candy I can say new experience sweet experience.

It was a great experience. Went there for my birthday and wasn’t disappointed! The food was amazing and the non alcoholic drinks (although very sour) were very good and I was happy they were just as pretty as the alcoholic ones. 10/10 experience. A birthday I won’t forget!

We went to Blu on Avenue Road for our 3rd anniversary dinner and had a quiet romantic table on the ground floor. Staff went out of their way to explain the menu and our choices. It was clear that they were very loyal and loved their jobs and the place. They did give us some quiet time too. Then we were told the restaurant was about to close because of a huge rent increase at their lease renewal. We hope the new location opening on King Street West will come close to the beautiful spacious building on Avenue Road. Even if it does not we will be there because the food and service is so good. We each had an amazing scallop appetizer and we were glad we did not split it and had our own. For main courses the pasta, lamb and beef tenderloin were cooked to perfection. We were too full for ordering dessert but they brought a tiramisu to share and we were able to finish before leaving happy. We can’t wait to return to the new location in May.

This was one of the best steakhouses we have visited. The service from Alex was excellent and the food was delicious at every course. The short rib ravioli was a fabulous and filling appetizer and we enjoyed the Caprese salad. The filet was so tender we didn’t even need a steak knife, and the bearnaise and cognac peppercorn sauces were wonderful. The baked Alaska was spectacular and was like dinner and a show. Overall, we enjoyed it so much we came back the next night for dessert. Highly recommend, and we will be back!

I've only been here twice, both times were great. Chicken Parmesan was so tender and juicy. Sauce had great flavor. Beef Tenderloin was amazing, perfectly cooked to your choice.
