About the restaurant
Michelin Guide rated neighborhood restaurant with creative and shareable cuisine and a year-round patio.

"With a clear vision, a striking aesthetic and distinctive, mouthwatering flavors, Canon restaurant in East Sacramento is a stellar and welcome addition to the city’s dining scene." - 4-Stars, Sacramento Bee

"Find the convivial Canon sequestered away from the downtown bustle. This cool space that contrasts deep tones against bright whites is enveloped by the aromatic smell of smoke, so it’s no surprise that the house is packed most nights. Chef Brad Cecchi is the culinary mastermind and his menu is pivoted around playful small plates." - Michelin Guide

Canon is committed to a healthy and productive workplace. A 4% service fee is added to dine-in bills to help cover the cost of employee health and wellness benefits and to provide a kitchen equity stipend to our back-of-house staff.

Iconic restaurant with really good food. We had sampler appetizers, the balls w meat inside were outstanding. The Mongolian beef and honey walnut dishes were excellent and the chowmein was good. The Fat family has given their lives to their restaurants and Sacramento. Thanks for a lifetime of memories of your restaurants we’ve enjoyed since 1973!

I always like coming here. In ambiance is very cute. The guac and ceviche are great appetizers. They could use some acoustics inside. Not bad at lunch, but I've been there for happy hour before where it was just far too loud for my comfort.
