Absolutely fantastic in every way. Beautiful ambiance and the food was outstanding. Loved the NA elixirs that came with each of the 5 courses, especially since I’m pregnant and not drinking.

Spokane
About the restaurant
Opened in 2006, the first thing you'll experience at Wild Sage American Bistro is the rich earth tones and classic architectural details that make our bistro both relaxing and refined. Walls of windows saturate our interior space with abundant natural light during the day and provide an intimate atmosphere at night. You'll find our three dining areas allow for conversations to flow comfortably yet privately for a wonderful dining experience.
We have designed a menu that allows us to be creative on a daily basis, and work within the limits of what is in season and available. We are always looking for unique ingredients to highlight. Local beef, regional fresh fish, local gardens, heirloom vegetables fruits and tomatoes. We describe our style as “Regionally Sourced Northwest Cuisine”. It just makes sense using local ingredients at the peak of their quality and freshness.

Tonight was another fabulous evening at I think, one of Spokane‘s best restaurants. We started off with lamb tongue and chard octopus, out of this world. The three of us had different entrées which included the halibut special for the evening, lamb, Ragu, and the Squid Ink pasta. Our plates should’ve been on the cover of food and wine magazine, I’m not kidding. I also recommend the peach Bellini. I’ve been here many times and it never disappoints. If I could give this restaurant six stars out of five I would.

About the restaurant
The Depot Restaurant - Seaview features casual fine dining offering a Chef's Table to watch owner Chef Michael Lalewicz perform his magic from a display kitchen. The covered heated deck adds outdoor seating. A northwest and international wine list offers 16 wines by the glass, five microbrews and a hard cider on-tap. This 132 year old train station from the peninsula's Clamshell Railroad feels like a French Bistro especially when seated at the 9 seat counter reminding one of the Orient Express. Northwest Palate claims "Lalewicz has food angels in the kitchen" and food writer Gerry Frank of the Oregonian declares "the Depot is one of the best Dinner Houses in the Northwest"

About the restaurant
Serafina opened its doors in 1991 as an intimate neighborhood restaurant located along Eastlake between the University and Downtown. Its intimate, sultry atmosphere, outdoor garden seating and its authentic Italian cuisine make it a favorite with diners from around the Puget Sound and beyond. Serafina's philosophy is simple: Offer the freshest, highest quality ingredients, present the food in an honest and inviting way, and provide the casual warmth and soothing ambiance that echoes the welcoming embrace of an Italian home.
The ritual of coming together sharing wine and food with family and friends is the central motif in our lives. Italian food has an immediacy, honesty, and warmth; it possesses the spirit of a grandmother's wisdom and love. About the restaurant
For more than 20 years, Paolo’s has been bringing the taste of Italy to Kent. Paul Raftis founded the restaurant after growing up learning to cook along side his mother, Darlene Raftis. He enjoys the open kitchen he can chat with guests as he works. He never tires of hearing "It smells so good in here!" As a marathoner, he is living proof that that you can eat Italian and be healthy. In fact, one of his signature dishes, "Fettucine Paolo" was featured in Runner's World magazine. "It's one of the dishes I developed, it has no cream in it, no butter." It's a delicious pasta dish that utilizes olive oil, garlic, chicken stock, garlic, balsamic vinegar, sundried tomatoes, artichokes, and chicken. So whether it's bruschetta, cioppino, pizza, or spaghetti and meatballs, Paul thanks each of you for choosing to dine here.

We've been curious about Flavour Bistro since Chef Clive Gomez took over. It was our anniversary, and we wanted something special, we weren't disappointed. The restaurant decor is minimalist but elegantly done. It's got a mello vibe with the proper level of light and mellow Caribbean music. The service was exceptional, our waitress made some great suggestions and was attentive with a personal touch that made us feel right at home. The food was exceptional. We had a small bowl of Chicken Gumbo and the Caribbean Salad as starters. The gumbo was rich and aromatic, the salad had mixed greens, grilled pineapples, mandarin oranges, grapes, bell peppers, and a honey-lime vinaigrette with a hint of Caribbean seasoning. The salad was dressed properly with just the right amount of dressing and the grilled pineapple was a unique touch. We ordered the Mushroom and Truffle Ravioli, and the Creole Chicken and Gnocchi. We also got a side of sauteed mushrooms (we love mushrooms!). The raviolis were chock full of mushrooms and bits of truffle. The sauce was rich and creamy with pops of acid thanks to the sundried tomatoes which offset the richness of the sauce well. The Creole Chicken and Gnocchi, The Gnocchi were light, airy and pan fried to give them just a little crunch The Creole Chicken had the texture of a sausage and the most unique flavor with an earthiness that reached down to my toes and through my core. The sauce had rue with hints of shrimp and enough butter to clog an elephant's heart! It was so good that if I weren't so full, I would have ordered a piece of bread to sop up what little remained in my bowl. We picked the perfect dessert; we had the Two Layer Key Lime Pie. It was velvety and luscious with a hint of cardamom, a great way to finish a great meal. It was a delightful meal and we'll be back again.

A most beautiful birthday experience! We ordered the crabcakes (2 orders): large, all-Dungeness crab, perfectly fried, plum ginger sauce, with a rice pilaf, and green-beans/corn kernels on the side. Everything on the plate was perfectly cooked and presented. Also one order of the fish and chips, equally impressive. For dessert, we three shared a Huckleberry Slump—delicious, with more than enough for the three of us. Overall, a wonderful evening out, with a beautiful sunset view over the water.
