The food and service is always excellent. Gigi, the owner/chef is warm and welcoming. It is our favorite Italian restaurant in North Scottsdale.

What a great place to have a delicious Italian meal. We were greeted graciously when we arrived. The staff made sure we were comfortable, and allowed us to eat at the leisurely pace we requested. Food was great and our server was superb! He is a real pro! The Pasta Carbonara was excellent and finished off at the table by our server. The Chicken Marsala was also excellent. And the Rose was tasty, refreshing, and reasonable. Look forward to our next meal at The Italian Daughter!

Created out of a 1939-era cottage, The Hidden House features a creative menu full of Asian-accented favorites. The must-get is the crispy duck breast, made with grilled peaches, bok choy, and goat cheese. For a side, try the macaroni and cheese made with cavatelli pasta, three cheeses, olive oil, and toasted breadcrumbs. Cocktails are standouts on the drink menu at The Hidden House. Opt for the famous Ramos gin fizz, made with heavy cream, egg white, and sugar, and shaken for 12 minutes.

Atmosphere comfortable and relaxing. Food was exceptionally good. My husband had the pork chop, and me and my friend had the striped bass, delicious. When it was described with vegetable garnish, I ordered a side of the brussel sprouts, expecting a tablespoon of vegetables more for decoration. Pleasantly surprised, plentiful assortment of tasty accompaniment of veggies. I asked if the salad would be enough for two, it served 3! All food ordered was plentiful, delicious, and the desserts were also good. The oreo cup was good, but my blood orange sorbet, was so good I may just go back when I need a delicious, refreshing dessert! Our server, Anastasia, was adorable and efficient. The person who seated us was not so inviting when we checked in and we're seated. It was such a wonderful dining experience, it would have been nice if he would have asked, " have you ever dined with us before?", and shared info about the establishment and its offerings. We sat in the main dining area which was charming. Many young, beautiful couples, families with children and elders, and everyone looked happy to be there. Well worth the dining experience, and we will visit again.
