Beautiful dinner experience! Jose’s Favorites tasting menu is a great choice for 2. Dishes are coursed out perfectly so we were always munching but never overwhelmed. This place is probably in my top 3 favorite restaurants. If you haven’t tried the chicharron you MUST! It’s the most flavorful tender and yet crispy pork I’ve ever had, like crazy delicious. Sometimes my friend and I have dreamt about the chicharron. Their ceviche is amazing!!! Perfect balance of citrus and salt and so fresh. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful whether you go for lunch or dinner. It’s like a secret garden in the sky. And it has a pool with amazing frozen drinks. It’s fun to come to any time of day. The service was very solid. The people we’re friendly, accurate, prompt, not overbearing or pushy. They brought food and drinks at a nice pace. Definitely recommend!

I've lived in Chicago for 32 years and never made it here but was enticed by their happy hour. Who can beat $1 oysters and half off bottles of wine these days? No one. But one cannot live on oysters alone, so we ordered some sides that were all so well executed (oh those brussels sprouts!) that I am now resolved to come back to try their mains. The service was terrific, ambiance welcoming and fun (loved the piano player), and it was really a fantastic place to kill a few hours and a few bottles of wine with friends.

The food was delicious as always! The dish I wanted and had told my friend about was sold out, but the alternate selection was fabulous! We were so happy! The server was solicitous and shared hints about the dishes to make sure we would be satisfied. We were more than happy!

Stopped in here for brunch before catching the train back home after our anniversary celebration - staff was so attentive and kind, surprising us with the most amazing crème brûlée!! Nice, quiet atmosphere and everyone was so friendly. Also, right across from Millennium Park:)

The food is excellent in both taste and appearance, the wine and cocktail menu is great! We shared a bottle of Sancerre, oysters, the duck for two, and for dessert we shared the soufflé and the pistachio cake. We were particularly impressed with the duck and the soufflé! Service was outstanding. The ambiance is really nice, except that if the bar area is busy and loud, which it was for part of the time we were there (which coincided with happy hour), that bleeds into the rest of the dining room since there is no physical separation. That's really the only negative thing I could say. After happy hour, it was quite nice. Highly recommend!
