Amazing food and service and celebrated a cousin’s birthday

To start, we waited 35 minutes to be served at our table. After giving our order , it took another almost 35 minutes before we got food. When the waitress found out that we had been there, she was wonderful. I believe her name was Tanya. One of the persons who delivers dishes to the table, a tall young man, also tried to accommodate us. And then, I believe a manager, came out and apologized, and offered us a free dessert. It was really frustrating to have to avoided so long in the beginning. I told several of the workers that I had mentioned to some out-of-town people how wonderful Oak Mountain was and that they should have dinner there that evening before leaving town the next day. They thought that was fabulous however, I am embarrassed and hope that they did not receive the same service that I did. Please be more mindful of customers who are coming to eat. The food is great. And the ambience is great, but service seems a bit lacking. I gave it a four in the survey only because three people tried to remedy the situation and did apologize. 

We had an enjoyable outdoor dining experience at The Restaurant at Ponte. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had the crab cakes and wine country salad with grilled salmon. The Pinot Grigio was a perfect pairing for our lunch. It was a pleasant early afternoon with mild temperatures. Over the years The Restaurant at Ponte has never disappointed us.

Excellent! Great culture, ambiance and staff. I loved the food as well as the experience. I’ll be back. : )
